The Great Engravers has been the Royal Mint success story of the last three years. This week saw the launch of the final coin in the Great Engravers trilogy the iconic Gothic Crown. This is the real deal and big news and a masterful accomplishment. We can see the first side of the crown this month the beautiful William Wyon Quartered Arms but we will have to wait a little while to see the obverse the beautiful Victoria Wyon gothic portrait.

The Royal Mint is pulling off some beautiful releases, here in USA the mint is going in opposite direction even our new gold and silver eagles look generic. SMH
