Features advanced coding tips & tricks, design and implementation patters, and insight into some of the lesser known API features. This is an advanced session designed to help experienced developers.
I have not watched many Google IO lectures, but this so far is one of the best I've watched.
GPS and location providers starts at 0:21:27
@musicnchilli far as i remember, Android market maximum allowed size is 50 megabytes
dis wz really a fantastic session
Thankfully, now as experts, we get to throw out AsyncTask and Loaders because they were terrible and so they are now deprecated.
@furiii There are actually around 240 countries in the world. You're only counting countries that are recognized by the United Nations. Read this: prbblog.org/index.php/2011/02/15/how-many-countries-are-there-in-the-world/
Is there a way to set the Speech recognition within the app to certain language, even though the users Language setting are in a different language?

@intermediavishnu I think its because he is using his xoom that it is low light, and this is just a guess.
Any body have any idea about what the maximum size of your app should be for example if you are adding videos within your app, what should be the size of each video and the total size of the whole app. thanks any help would be appreciated thanks
@retomeier It would be also generous of you if you can provide us with a TH-cam app that cashes selected videos for watching in offline mode, you can also be clever and use the external SD card and not the internal for that purpose.
is there any videos by Google I/O about SQLite in android .

Something around 2GB or 4GB
