@meguzhev I think what he's reffering to is the VPN software would have the ability to access all network information travelling through the network adapters. In order for 3rd party VPN software to do this, the Android OS would have to allow the app to access this data traffic, which for virus's or malicious software, allows them to do the same. This is what he means by "very dangerous".
Why do you separate security features for personal use and enterprise use? Isn't security equally important, regardless if you want to protect buisiness data or your private information? 🤔 Why not letting everyone set up their own security policys for their devices?
How about taking work to android? Cisco IPSec VPN is widely used by the companies but it is not implemented in Android. "VPN is very dangerous".... hmmmm ... but not for Apple's iPhone.
To bad that Android does not support fx Cisco VPN . One of the most important things when it comes to enterprises is secure access. Without that, we cannot use it for secure systems and we (admins) needs to open up our firewalls and risk much more. This is not good !

@decimusjuvinalis
Rooting a phone to be able to do IPSEC vpn is not an option for the enterprise.
Getting a phone that is already prepared is.

Embarrassing moment at around 28:00. Enterprises would like it !
