    Thank you for uploading! Just to clarify, the zeolite adsorb the water not absorb, absorption is what liquids do...

    Very interesting, thank you for this practical demonstration. Where can we buy some zeolite like yours?

    Hello...
    I found that there are several types of zeolites. What is the specific type suitable for making a thermal storage battery?

      x13 molecular sieve would work, not sure if there are even better ones.

    I would like to do some experimentation with this type of activated ZEOLITE. Please recommend a way in which to obtain some samples.Thanks in advance

    I would like to know which kind of zeolite is and how long the zeolite stays hot.
    If you can answer, it would be really usefull for my thesis.
    Thank you!

      Do you recibe an answer i also need what kind of zeolite is

    • @Humbulla93
      @Humbulla93 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@erick3655 the zeolite in this clip is probably 3A molecular sieves, to heat 1 liter of water from 20°C to 100°C you need 0,1kw/h zeolithe has an energy capacity of ca. 200kw/h per m3 so you´d need 0,5 liter of zeolite to boil 1l of water, alternatively you could use 320grams of calcium oxide to achieve the same result

    what is the type of zeolite being used? any recommendations on which zeolite types generate most heat and most steam for heating purposes? Thanks!

    • @Humbulla93
      @Humbulla93 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      the smaller the zeolite the more energy it releases due to higher surface area, the zeolite in this clip looks like 3A molecular sieves

    can anyone suggest how we can predict how much heat zeolite is storing in it ?????

  • @chingada47

    I'm confused. You said the zeolite and tap water were room temperature then when you began your experiment you said, "Watch what happens when I pour the COLD water onto the COLD zeolite." What is it then - room temperature or cold? Or does it make any difference?:

    Does anyone know if Zeolite has to be heated to high temperatures like calcium oxide to get the reaction to happen again?

    • @unionse7en
      @unionse7en ปีที่แล้ว

      depends some as low as 350F for several hours forcing it through it would help. Some suppliers online have the info on their product listing page. search "Molecular Sieve 3A"

    So does anybody know how many grams of Zeolite it takes to boil one liter of water?

    • @Humbulla93
      @Humbulla93 ปีที่แล้ว

      you´d need 0,5 liter of zeolite that would equate to ca. 1 kg

    Can you please specify the chemical formula of this zeolite?
    Thanks

    • @Humbulla93
      @Humbulla93 ปีที่แล้ว

      the chemical formula of this zeolite is Na12[(AlO2)12(SiO2)12] · 27 H2O

    • @Humbulla93
      @Humbulla93 ปีที่แล้ว

      the boiling temperature depends on altitude, but normally it´s around 98°C
