But then you have people like Harman Smith who do a HILARIOUSLY Poor job at hyping up Nintendo and the Nintendo Switch.
To such an extent that he is willing to say that Nintendo Switch is OBJECTIVELY SUPERIOR to gaming PCs.... Oh boy, this should be good!!

I may be a Nintendo fan myself, but i don't think PC gaming is going to die any time soon as long as Steam is around.

As a guy who owned the vanilla and now an OLED switch. This dude wasn’t cooking. Yes, the switch ain’t powerful in comparison to other consoles, but that doesn’t stop me from enjoying games I grew up with like Mario and Pokémon.

The Switch made sense, on release. It was just powerful enough to get downgraded Ps4/One ports, justified by being a handheld. Ps5/Series X has made ports next to impossible on Switch and the Steam Deck is just straight up a more powerful Switch with the massive gaming library of the PC behind it. Nintendo definitely wants to release a successor soon.
Speaking as a former Nintentard, literally every other console is superior. Xbox is super powerful, PlayStation has arguably the best exclusives in gaming, and PC gets the best of both with the highest potential. Nintendo knows that if they ever port exclusives then their console sales will plummet because the portability isn’t really a selling factor for older consumers.
Now imagine what Harman would say if he found out about GOG "duuhhhh you not allowed to own games you buy digitally"
pc gaming isn't clearly dead. If it's dead then nobody is capable of playing old games or recent games in different ways.
(also as someone who have a Nintendo switch and PC too. Nintendo switch is dog water compared to my PC. )

As someone who has a PC, Xbox, and a Switch, the Switch is by far the one I use the least. The only thing that I think the Switch is superior with is exclusive games, such as BOTW/TOTK, Mario Kart, Animal Crossing, etc. As for the console itself, there’s no denying it’s the worst performing of the bunch.

I have a switch Xbox and a gaming pc... my pc blows everything else out the water without trying and the sheer libraries it has access to is mind blowing. He'll the only reason I have the switch is because I play pokemon with my kids no other games have been purchased for it
I adore Nintendo and what they've done with the Switch, and I don't even really play pc. But there is no denying that pc gaming is at number 1 and the gap between it and 2nd place makes it not even fair to bring up in the discussion of what's the best because it just isn't close. Pc can play every single video game ever made. Whether it was intended to or not doesn't matter because it can and does. Pc also has access to an infinitely huge catalog of fangames and fan made remakes, mods, and literally anything you could ever want. Even if it's not there, you can make it yourself if you really want it that bad. Pc gaming is unstoppable. Nothing could ever hope to replace it.

@TheGamingRift11 percentage wise, only a small handful have been updated to run on things other than flash, even less will operate on the websites own functions and the majority just got left behind. Obviously the biggest stuff got updated but there's super obscure flash games that are lost to time now me and my brother used to play to kill time

Emulation IS on the Switch, that's how Nintendo runs the games it offers via NSO.

@@TheGamingRift11 the xbox 360 turns in at around 720p/1080i and the switch is 900p docked and 720 in portable. i think its a great version for on the go if u dont have a steam deck. i played the hell out of the ps3/360 version of skyrim i think i put in more hours in that than rdr1 and gta 4 and 5 combined god that was a great game anyways yaaaaa it dont look like a ps2 game on the switch. 360 game ya most defiantly. in all great video i subbed. harman is a moron i hate fanboys and love to make fun of them

They have like four or five relevant games every decade and their current console is too weak to run 80% of modern games. Hell, they’re still working on getting 15 year old titles onto it! They don’t have a trophy/achievement system, a subscription service that won’t let you play anything younger than the OG DS, shut down the only way to play old titles without pirating them, and rerelease a select few old titles with very minor improvements and sell at full price. They’re Nazis when it comes to their IPs and don’t respect their fans. So yes, Nintendo is ass.
