Some additional comments regarding the upcoming PS5 Pro. First off, I doubt that Sony will be offering any black Friday deals or holiday bundles a mere few weeks after the console launches. With most new consoles, console purchases usually see their best sales at release, aside from when they do drastic price drops for things like black Friday or Christmas holiday deals. Second, the processor getting such a tiny bump in performance, will only serve to act as a bottleneck for performance. That makes any game utilizing Unreal Engine 5 likely to be capped at 30 fps, as well as other games which don't use EU5, such as Hogwarts Academy. Sony's approval process for new games doesn't even require 60 fps performance for the PS5 Pro. Those claiming that the PS5 Pro will make all games at least 60 fps are showing their lack of research, and those claiming performance at or better than the nVidia 4090 delusional. Third, the PS5 Pro was available from Sony's site more than 24 hours after the pre-order process started, and have largely remained available through websites such as Best Buy's. And while the official announcement led to a rash of PS5/PS5 Pro disc drives becoming available through sites such as eBay, the only PS5 Pros appearing (at massive markups) are the 30th anniversary edition. And finally, it's up to the individual as to what they spend their money on. But it's worth pointing out that it might be a good idea to see what that $700+ gets you. (I'd guess that most of the PlayStation loyalists with deep pockets have disc based games from past systems, and got the more expensive PS5 at launch, making the $80 US disc drive a required purchase.) You've already seen how many PS5 games are being made with the PS4 in mind, since that remains to be about half of the entire PlayStation market at the moment. Due to the limited upgrade at the large price, I'd guess that the PS5 Pro will eventually end up being 5% of the PS5 market, or 2.5% of the current PlayStation market. How much effort do you think third party developers will be putting in to that market? If Sony's official launch video required pointing out differences of zoomed-in sections for PS4 and early PS5 games, the only time to expect drastic improvements will only be after they're shown, not before.
While we did mean GPU since we were talking about the graphical difference, they did change the CPU, here are the specs that were reported: www.techradar.com/gaming/ps5/ps5-pro-vs-ps5

It's not that big of a deal since it will only sell about 5 % of the base ps5. So sony want to cash in on each unit sold
can't wait for ps5 pro yeah!!
PS5 pro is dope. Can’t wait to continue FF7 rebirth on it 🤷🏽♂️
@@tremainerobinson9509 same here. I’m waiting for my pro before I even start it
The pro doesn't stand for professional but for prosaic
Pro-nouns 😮
I don't know where you guys got that spec comparison from but they did not change the cpu from the 5 to the 5 Pro.....
False information.
While we did mean GPU since we were talking about the graphical difference, they did change the CPU, here are the specs that were reported:
www.techradar.com/gaming/ps5/ps5-pro-vs-ps5
I pre-ordered the anniversary Pro, so I can sell it to some fool for 3K. 😂
Sony is just going down hill I guess.
Is not that there is a problem with the console,,Is that is not worth the $700 ,,you are getting nothing!!!!
@@pedrorivera2308 you are getting better performance and more storage. I’ll get one if I get decent trade in credit for my og ps5
23 Tflops PS5PRO its 10 + Tflops regular PS5.
LOL
Whew boy this video and those like it did not age well. I don’t know which planet people live on but next gen tech being cheaper than the previous literally never happens. I mean if I’m a pc gamer am I pisssd because the new graphics card costs $3000 and all I can afford is $1000? I would suspect pc gamers would laugh at your complaints and go ahead and buy the 3000 dollar graphic card and not care about what others can afford and that’s what I’m doing when I buy my ps5 pro. I’ve seen the video from
Digital Foundry and if you can’t see the difference you may need to get your eyes checked.
Just get the 5 Slim.
It can do all the crap the pro can do AND you can use disks.
This video is cap
I don’t see the problem? I have ordered one. If you don’t want one don’t buy it. No one is forcing anyone to buy one. People just like to moan. Not happy some people unless they are moaning.
The problem is people want one just not for that price
@@asole100 agreed but either save for it or don’t buy it. Stop moaning. There are no end of things in life people, including myself can not afford.
@@JobeMI6 It's more about the principal, for that price it should include a disc drive at the very least. Speaking up, and not supporting this kind of behavior is the only thing we can do in hopes that Sony doesn't make this same decision with their next console.
If you think what they are doing is acceptable then you are going to have a lot of problems with money in life. Being that wasteful with money is just idiotic in general.
There are no NEW EXCLUSIVE GAMES g for the pro!
It's not a NEW CONSOLE!
only new consoles like the ps6 will get new games... MAYBE
and it's said that the 6 won't be back compat with 123or even 4 games...
So stick with the base or the Slim 5 and show Sony we mean business!
Then Sony will release a switch type system with switch type prices and you will cry about that.
Underpowered overpriced weak CPU…minimal games double the price and nobody is buying it scalpers don’t want it…😂🤣😆🤣😂 no games
They bought the entire 30th anniversary stock
And they'll be stuck with it
@@KRSRK yup 😬….Sad for the real PS collectors and fans that would appreciate it the regular pro is available there not buying it..
@@Mcfigg I'm not on current gen as of yet, I wanted to go from my PS4 Pro to the 5 Pro , but that price isn't enticing at all.
(Sony are idiots, inflation is a piss poor excuse too)
@@KRSRK from the PS4 pro that would be nice just expensive $750 with no hard drive eeehhh…
@@Mcfigg that's exactly my thoughts 😂🫡
120 a year to play online now from 60 a few years ago i rather pc game

No it did not 😂 It is still up for preorder, the 30th sold out not the reg version.
Up yours to TH-cam cuz I got me a PS4 and the Xbox One S gaming for Life HOMEBOY.
DEI and mismanagement killed Playstation before PS5 Pro was even a thing.
What’s DEI and before you answer if it has anything to do with the idiots who cry everything is woke just don’t answer and if you’re one of those people please get help.
