Thank you for noticing, really. The only exception would be basic lands, since so many people use mismatched lands (cringe). It would make more work finding each card art. So normally I use one of the lands used or something very similar, just to cut down on production time
Another gameplay channel with great edition, niceee I've always liked Ojutai, a Voltron commander with built in protection and evasion, plus counterspells. If I didn't have a Greven deck I would build him I really like the way you present you commanders, instead of with the custom made animations of other channels, which are sometimes meee

Be careful! You missed a lot of forsaken monument triggers, two mana discounts from the Ugin planeswalker and also you played that Mirrorpool untapped (it enters the battlefield tapped). I enjoyed the video. Kozilek it's a great and fun commander to play.
That’s awesome, checked out EDHRec and they only have 330 lists for that commander. So it’s very uncommon. Our box lights are actually facing upwards. We still have a glare issue, I think due to the limited space we have to work with, it’s the angle we’ve had the most success with so far
@@InResponseEDH Yea I wanted to choose a Blue/White commander that people don’t hate on the spot like Brago or Grand Arbiter. I like the ETB/Blink route. Mine is more Control with counterspells, removal and board wipes and then some equipment and auras to keep Ojutai untapped and indestructible.
@@hiddenleaf414 that sounds sort of like the direction Jose took his deck. I think once he keeps a decent starting hand, he’s definitely gonna be a problem. I think I’d probably go with Yorion, the sky noodle, if I were to build a blue/white deck for the bounce effect. Writing this suddenly gave me the urge to build it 🤔

@@sebastian6650 but after rewatching the video. Mike did forget to shuffle his deck when cracking the 2nd fetch land. Even when failing to find the player has to search the library and shuffle. Guess we missed it
@@InResponseEDH Oh, so you have to shuffle library either way, even if you havent really looked into it in order to fetch a land. It makes sense but I think it should not matter much, or at least it should not be a big gamechanger.

Are you talking about when I cracked the fetch and failed to find? You can choose "fail to find" to not give an opponent a land and potentially shuffle away a card they may have tutored to the top. I believe I did this in another video where I cast a cultivate, and fail to find.
You forgot to uptick 6 drop ugin multiple times. I'm building a kozilek deck and I'm not a fan of hangarback walker or the forge that lets you look at the top card. I get why it's good but I'd rather play sensei's divining top for multiple reason: can rearrange better, stronger card selection, better to pitch for kozilek to stop path or swords. Hangarback can be anything really. I'm trying out the new phyrexian triniform guy. Super cool dude that gets more value from being in the grave or getting blown up.
Yeah, had some sloppy play that game, but it happens when you stream really late at night. I agree with you on the addition of Sensei's Top. I own multiple copies that are being used in other decks. And I'm not a huge fan of proxies (yet) or switching cards around from deck to deck, thus the forge lol. Triniform seems fun and I haven't found a home for him yet. Good suggestion, might give it a try

Even when i'm looking at edhrec for deck ideas and looking at other Kozilek builds, honestly, the amount of crazy good colorless cards that have come out in just the last year and a half are wild. Hell, a new land just got spoiled in Modern horizons 2 (Urza's saga) that i'm like "anddddd another auto include that only gets risky if people run early game enchantment hate".
Imagine having to sit through turns like Mike's. So so frustrating to sit through insanely long games where one person takes the longest turns every rotation by a country mile.

This was a fun game, but watching people play Atraxa like this really frustrates me. Never summoning her to benefit from proliferate and just sending out the planeswalkers to die with no protection totally defeats the purpose of bringing her to the table in the first place. There's so much more pressure from having multiple planeswalkers gaining multiple counters per turn while having a creature with all of Atraxa's abilities there to defend against weaker attacks or attacks from high value creatures.
Mike hardly casts Atraxa during games. He doesn't mind them dying cus he has to big spells that reanimate his graveyard, which is how he normally wins. I mean it's not a bad gameplan. Maybe not the best for viewing but it is effective none the less

He uses the white mana from the orzhov guild gate to help filter the wooded bastion for 2 green mana
