- Chief Justice David Maraga had a fierce exchange with fiery Lawyer Ahmednassir Abdullahi, where the country’s top judge faulted him for litigating matters outside the courtroom. Abdullahi was criticised for taking to social media to express dissatisfaction with court orders, the latest being yesterday’s nullification of his client Martin Wambora’s election as Embu governor. And as Francis Gachuri reports, two governors and one MP had their election upheld by the high court today.

5 years ago Ahmednassir was fighting with CJ .Maraga.... my question is ,what does he knows about judiciary that many Kenyans do not know?

The judiciary is not immune to criticism. We criticize executive and parliament all day long. But when it comes to judiciary, we are told to respect the independence of the judiciary... Really??? Ahmednassir has the right to say whatever he wants no matter how irritating it may be. I may not agree with what he says, but his right to say it must be defended.
My friend there is something called prerogatives of independence of the judiciary provided for in the constitution
