India to begin with is not a country but a sub continent calling it a country is an insult to what it really is. Nations are human creations, continents aren't .. and hence equating India with continents we can see that every continent is classified into different sections based on the fact that the prevailing culture/way of life among the people in that particular region is somewhat similar to each other. For example - Eastern Europe, Western Europe.. Northern Africa, southern africa, you might want to count both North and South America as one example too.
A nations modern culture is influenced by the kingdoms that ruled them. Across North India we have had different set of rulers than in South india, which under the Vijaynagar empire and many more empires was united as one region. Merely drawing lines on a piece of paper doesn't disavow the fact that people in southern india are more similar in terms of religious and social/cultural practices to each other than a north or north eastern India.
India has fundamentally always been a hub of different cultures celebrating our unity in diversity. And In order to celebrate that diversity it is essential for people to acknowledge the differences amongst each other and respect them.
I mean if we were to follow the American Model we would all be speaking one language now wouldn't we? We are not all the same no matter which political party says so. We are all different and we should celebrate the fact that people across different cultures live today in complete harmony with each other over here. We are what western Europe seeks to be.

Of all the teachers I ever had, my south Indian teachers from Kerala were really well educated minds, not just in terms of knowledge but also on how to guide new generation.
Don't say Kerala has best education; low scoring people from Kerala are coming to Coimbatore most and other parts of Tamil Nadu.. Education in India is a big problem! Uniform education should be given to everyone! Education is more costlier now, people who couldn't afford this become illiterate.. whose mistake is this? Conclusion is Kerala education is inclusive of good scoring people; but Tamil Nadu education is nothing but a trash! Takes everyone who wish to; the real end is people become graduate without good knowledge! As an Indian I am voicing out my opinion on education, education should be uniformed across the country! As I've noticed.. Hindi is like an official language in North, south has a lot of English English everywhere. Me being a southie sad to say I'm not very fluent in hindi😂. English is my first language even at home here. But North is amazing in so many ways too😍😍. North is amazingly traditional while south is kinda mordernish

exactly my point, she is talking from southern prospective. If its all about North and South, I am from Gujarat and I have been to both places. I see both are beautiful, While North is more politically powerful, historically well diversed, and open to any language. South is more green, Relgious (this is true), educated and where all tech giants are.
but the most basic difference between South and North are - Language family (if you know what it is) and the "Aryan-Dravidian". Plus - Shiva vs Karthikey.. (thats just joke)

Punjab ; Haryana ; Western UP :- Agricultural regions ; Industrial area and they gave more soliders than any part of India.
Rajasthan :- Architecture is one of the best in the world,Palaces, Royalty , culture is best and no other state of India can match this.
Delhi :- Industrial region,Capital,Administration.
UP and Bihar :- Best for IAS officers, culture, religion, secularism, unity,language , love and affection is at another level.

what i would get from the video is that because North constantly faced enemies - we are more 'careful' while South didn't so they don't understand when we express any concerns regarding a specific practice or anything...we are much more open but also maybe had inferiority complex with 'americanized/western' things... also because of the constant conquests a lot more rules were made for women to keep us safe so that's where that came from...

@@ncxdf1277, you are right here, for example- the English word for 'चंपक' came from from Sanskrit or one of its successor languages, not from any South Indian language (in Kannada, we write ಸಂಪಿಗೆ). Space missions and naval missions are also taken from Sanskrit terms like चंद्रयाण.
Guys these kind of videos can be misleading! While the speaker made some good points, she was not right in the other cases. North and South are hugely different but also similar in some ways. It can not be said one side is better than the other.

Rajasthan, UP and MP are the tourist hubs of INDIA. The tourism in NORTH shows the power and legacy while the South is much about nature

I m not from North India nor from south but from West and all info this lady said is not true the oldest university in India is in kashi which is now called Banaras which is in North India called Nalanda university, well if anyone wants to distinguish south India from North India then south Indian's were Dravidian's and rest of Indian's were Aryan's.
Okay, for those who don't know about this North-south India divide, I will explain:
Basically, there are two major ethnic groups- the Dravidian and the Indo-Aryan-European. The Dravidians are the native Indians and the Indo-aryans are the non-native groups who naturalised with the Indian land and started making cultures and traditions. I do not show hate to good Indo-aryan ethnic people as a Dravidian but, some of Indo-aryans people are claiming supremacy over Dravidians are those I oppose. They want to impose their native language -Sanskrit or other successors of it- which we don't like because they ignore our culture and traditions. Linguistically speaking, in the Indo-aryan side in the North of India, all native languages are derived from Sanskrit wheras in the Dravidian side, all languages evolved from a language that we cannot exactly determine its vocabulary called Proto-dravidian. There are also some theories that Dravidian languages are the oldest languages in the world, around 10,000 years old, because of its rich vocabulary and grammatical features.

@@prateekbhore2264 i dont think south indian behavior is good. They have much hatred towards north indian, hindi and Aryans(although it's fake narrative). They respect foreign language but don't like indian language hindi. I don't know what type of education they got.

I am from North India but I love south Indian people
There is nothing as north vs south or the east vs west. I can say this because my mother is from Kerala and my father is from Bihar and I lived in both the places but never heard of the so called north vs south. I am currently living in Jammu in a military campus and live with people from different parts of india the north,south,east and west. My current neighbour is from gujrat, punjab, tamilnadu and bihar. My mother's friend is from Rajasthan and my friend is from Uttrakhand,Bihar,Jammu and kerala. I earlier lived in punjab a place called Khemkaran and we have to travel for 1 and half hour in a bus to reach school in Amritsar and we go in a military bus. In that bus you can see children from different parts of india like Assam,bengal,Rajesthan,Kerala,Maharashtra,Gujarat,Jammu and Kashmir, tamilnadu and karnataka we all know each because we are from same battalion and spent over 12 years with each other we share our foods and also hear music from different parts of india but never ever had an argument like north vs south or east vs west.
yet the south is silent when 100-year-old temples are being destroyed. So much for education & Peace
South are the best of all, people, nature, temple, ,oldest language and religion culture love you india truth alwayz speaks
