First things first - I like this channel and I subscribed to it, and this comment is strictly about Waves, the company. I have a lot of plugins, including synths, and in the past, whenever there was a normal Mac OS update, pretty much all of my plugins worked... except Waves. My Waves plugins always seemed to "require a new (paid) version" when none of the others did, OR if they did, they had a free upgrade. I got tired of that. Then I bought their plugin version of the Yamaha CP 70 electric piano, and the lower notes were out of tune. Customer service basically told me "too bad." Hmm. Then Waves decided to move to a subscription-only model, the Internet exploded, the insults were flying fast and furious, and they quickly had to backtrack. But between those three things, Waves lost me as a customer.
Much much less i had a project with 2 soothe2 my cpu usage was 90% with this waves plugin to replace the soothes it went to 50-55% and it has much less or no artifacts you don’t need to choose resolution and aliasing filter it gives the best quality in real time with low cpu usage.
