I don't think there's ever been a better plugin update. Every one of the new options is a huge time-saver. Love the 'drawing' feature and the multiple instances.
@audioedges Bet you would. Man I've been replacing this with some of my older projects that I wasn't confident with and boy does it sound amazing. And just In case you didn't notice, try hovering the mouse over lower right corner of an instance in the instances view. You'll get a volume and phase control. Minimize the instances size and you have a console with eq and volume controls on all the channels you've put it on.
i'm not really sold on the pro-q4 - because its predecessor is that good. if you already own soothe, pro-q4's most significant update is superfluous. honestly, i don't know what else they could really add to pro-q3 that would help with what I already do.
I already have Soothe 2 and I just bought the Pro Q4 this week. Soothe 2 is in a lane all by itself. It has a different smoothing sound than the Pro Q4. I can hear the difference. I just use them both. They are both valuable tools.
Drawing the EQ line must be the shittest feature ever on a plug in. How can you possibly draw in an EQ without listening to the actual music and know what to expect. It's a gimmick, it wasn't broken before.
I will not really say it’s shitty cause a lot of well experienced engineers actually have an idea of an EQ curve that will work for their an audio source like for example a live Tom now being able to draw in the Curve that you know works very well for a sound can be a huge time saver especially if you’re using a touchscreen
For me it’s cool for plotting the points on a curve I know I’m going to want. After hearing a track, I have an instinct for the kind of shape I’ll want to use. I’ll then adjust the points how I want them, as you see in the video I don’t find the feature to be exact from the start. The drawing tool itself is something to get used to as well, so I feel once I’m good at it it’ll be pretty convenient for getting a rough shape going quickly.
🛑 I already had the Pro Q3 but I upgraded to the Pro Q4 this week and it's absolutely amazing! 💯
Nice! It’s pretty sweet!!
So have you tried EQ match cause I dont see the option any more

Agree. It's totally nuts!
What a time to be a mixing engineer 🙏🏽
The kinda plugin upgrade that would make 60 year old engineers wanna time travel back with this installed. Craziest update ever.
It’s a crazy time we’re living in. Excited to make some incredible music with this thing.

I’ve never purchased an upgrade faster in my life.
