FYI s sunroof is a window on top of the roof hence the name sunroof. What you made was a sun visor!! VW Beetle one of the most if not the most customized car ever. My dad had one in the 80's with a tricked out engine nothing much else. When I drove it on the highway at 80mph the nose would feel like it was floating from side to side It had oversized pistons Not so much as a restoration but a customized but it looks great and you did an excellent job!!! Enjoyed your video and I gave it a Thumbs Up
Very interesting customization. If mine wasn’t in great original condition I would seriously be tempted to modify mine. I would have loved seeing you make a cloth ragtop sunroof for it.

The only thing I might have done differently is put smaller tires on the front and big wide tires on the rear. Great viewer content seeing all of your additions to the car as you created them. Looking marvelous! What was the cleaner you used on the tires and windshield? That did wonders on those items!
I just used normal detergent, and for the tires I used "Back to Black trim & plastic restorer" before assembling.
Excellent workmanship! However, in my opinion, painting the completed car satin black minimizes the effort that's gone into it.
