Man oh man, mom dropped the ball.! This is an amazing cover of a beautiful Stevie Wonder song. In George’s documentary Stevie himself said when he heard what they had done with this song he was in AWE. This is such an amazing duet. Beautiful voices together. Love Mary J but I’m partial to Georges voice. That smooth delicate sensuous and powerful pitch perfect voice is just so brilliant. Ethereal really

If you are going to start listening to George Michael, you are in for a wonder. He wrote sang, produced n did much of the instruments in all his tracks.most of his covers of other artists were better than the originals. JMO
He was a perfectionist and was 💯 invested into every part of the music he put out. And it shows. This song is amazing!!

I am still freaked out that you did not know George Michael. He's considered one of the best voices ever. When his lover passed away he wrote "Jesus to a Child" for him. Listen to it, it is beautiful.

I saw him live in south Fl in 2008. He was sick and started the concert late. But when the dance tunes came on. Oh man he was dancing. Just like he does in all the videos. I loved to watch him still be so into it and enjoying the performance. It was a gift for me. I loved his voice and music since I was a kid in the 80’s

Mary J Blige’s record company thought it would harm her in the US market where George Michael was no longer a major force and the scandal would be the final nail in his US career. However, it was released in Europe and all other markets where George was/remained a much, much bigger star than Mary J Blige. This song gave her a massive hit all across Europe.
Mary J Blige was thrown by how big he still was in European Markets. She actually said that if she was to compare the hype - it felt like she’d duetted with someone as big as Michael Jackson.
