Thank you for sharing your experience. I have watched a lot of videos about visiting the Holy Land but I found yours the most helpful regarding the dress codes. Please keep on sharing
So grateful to be able to see this before my trip! Thank you so much. I love the way you assesed the actual packing tips but also included the emotional rollercoaster we'd all feel. Thank you! Godbless!
@@BrookeTaylor9 Not yet, the trip is this coming March so I pray that it'd be a success! Loved your beautiful words, so much! I'm a new subscriber here!
Really enjoyed your video. Also from Ohio :) We are taking our first pilgrimage in June. I can't wait for my family to experience this together. I LOVE the idea of the playlist for different areas. I have been doing research on some of the sights we will be visiting and they seem a little commercialized which has been a concern of mine. But I think if I am able to plug in a playlist that is specific to that moment it will help me. Thank you for the amazing idea.
Truly inspiring video. I've watched many of your videos and they are all very informative and I'm taking many ideas with me! th-cam.com/video/4ZYmNkxBwMw/w-d-xo.html
Yes, Barb. Thank you! The shirt is from Aerie. I searched the website and couldn't find the actual shirt I purchased, but I did find a similar style, here: www.ae.com/us/en/p/women/shirts-blouses/button-up-shirts/ae-boyfriend-button-up-shirt/1354_7893_309?menu=cat4840004. I hope that helps.
Hello Brooke. My mom told me about this luggage when it went on sale earlier in this month on HSN. Thank you for showing it. I had hesitated buying it previously. Is the trip to the Holy Land closed as of 2/20/19? Thanks in advance!
Donna, I just saw your comment. We DO still have room for the Holy Land, if you'd like to come! We leave on 2/22/2020. You can find the information, here: selectinternationaltours.com/brooke-taylor/
There is no such Holyland prescribed in Bible. Don't copy peagan rituals. Follow Bible. Nothing more.Christians are not binded to any pilgrimage. There is no connection between spiritual preparation and materials.
Actually, Jerusalem is called the Holy City in the Bible. Besides, the gospels clearly say Jesus used to go there as a pilgrim ever since he was a child, as was common among the jews. There is nothing of "pagan" in going to see where Jesus lived.
@@JulianaSilva140 it's a ritual assigned for those days Hebrews and hence Jesus and his family went to Jerusalem. But Jesus himself abolished that practice by saying the days are coming when not only in Jerusalem or in the mountains but every where in the world can Worship the God. Same time nothing harm to go and see those places. But don't overload anyother spiritual or magical importance to the places. The holycity is not referring to physical City. It's a spiritual meaning.
@@andrewss4980 While Jerusalem is called "Holy City" in Revelations as related to the life that is to come, and not the actual city, it is mentioned in the gospels as the actual city (Mt 4, 5 and Mt 27, 53), as it is in many parts of the Old Testament (ex: Is 52, 1). The city was always called that. We just didn't change its name.
I'm leaving to the holy land on Sept 2021 the first time ever traveling outside USA. Thank you for the tips
