Nothing, but nothing, comes close to my life-changing experience and spiritual connection as the pilgrimage I made with a group from Australia. I am forever grateful that God provided the resources that enabled me to follow the Footsteps of Jesus. While it is wonderful to see the rest of the world, none of those places give a deep sense of God’s presence. This is testament that God is real! If we take away from the distractions of the world and let God into our lives, we can have a true relationship with Him.

My greatest dream in life is to be in the holy land to experience the footsteps of the Almighty Jesus Christ. I’m coming this February 2018. I will carry with me the spirit of my deposed father who told me stories what was written in the Bible. Praise God.

A great film! My first trip there was a Catholic Pilgrimage...and a couple more but I also went there without an booked itinerary. I felt safe enough to travel. People were so friendly....Jews, Muslim or Christian... This film brings it back so well...wish I could return. Shame it was so wet when you were there but I remember our guide saying how they plant trees to bring the rain for faming, so it must be working. Shalom!

My third attempt to visit this most holy of places will most certainly be cancelled due to the recent declaration of war. The first two attempts were cancelled due to COVID. My heart is broken. My full value of prayer goes out to the people of Israel.

Ya, I thank God for making it possible for me to visit The Holy Land beginning with the Garden of Getsemane the Rock where there is now a church taken care of by the Franciscan Friers then I walked up the hill on foot to the top of the Mt. Of Olive from where Jesus looked over to the city of Jerusalem for the last time and cursed. Then I walked down the hill almost sliding at times and collected some dust hoping its the dust from below the feet of Jesus when He walked this hill. As I came bacj down I went into the Russian church someehere in the middle of the hill. Then when I got into the walled City of Jerusalem I had to hire a guide. He was good and knew all the important places and how to get there without wasting time. This was 1985 and he charged me USDollar 60. But I was totally satisfied and pleased. I was thrilled to enter the Tomb of Jesus which is under the care of Greek Orthodox Catholic Priests. I was soo thrilled to go into the tomb of Jesus where I shed some tears without even knowing until I came out. I was probably the first Nepali Catholic to go on a private tour of the Holy Land way back then for which I am so grateful and thank the Lord Jesus.
This is also my dream. I hope my Mama and I could do a pilgrimage there. Amen. St. Benedict, pray for us.

Earlier this year I spent a couple of days in Sidon In Lebanon and the streets are like identical to this video where Jesus carried the cross? Its such a tragedy that the border is closed and Christians cannot cross over. Jesus did visit around Sidon as well. Also saw where it is said Jonah was spat out by a whale on a sandy beach north of Sidon.

Is there any point to travel to the Holy Land if one is wheel chair bound? There doesn't seem to be many places where a wheel chair can go.

This might seem like a silly question to ask but i'll ask anyway - I kno that muslims are provided financial assistance to help them visit mecca. In the same way are there any organisations worldwide that provide financial assistance to catholics to visit the holy land? I heard abt the modern day nights templar organisations but that must be for ppl in the west. I'm a devout asian catholic who soo wishes to visit the holy land.

Why cant all religions be peaceful
because most of the people identify with the thoughts in their minds which are never identical and conflicting with each other, instead of identifying with the soul behind the thoughts which is identical in all of us.. once we realize and communicate in this dimension then automatically we will be at peace with all people around us and the people around you will be at peace with you.
