I have to sell my octavia 1.8 due to it being diesel and old and it's an absolute beast. can virtus be a good upgrade under 22lakh?
@@kartikshah2867 not an upgrade at all. Just can say it is best car under 22 lacs for old VAG owners because of no other options we got.

what do you suggest vw taigun or vw virtus
It doesn't have the same composed and controlled feel as the old Vento, Rapid, or Polo. It feels bigger and softer, with some stiffness that will take time for old VAG owners to adapt to. After 15 days of driving, I'm starting to regain the confidence I had with the Vento, but it still lacks that distinctive soul.

In comparison of Slavia 1.5 and Virtus 1.5 which one should i go for? I will be opting the manual drive train. I own a ford figo 1.4 tdci right now.
After testing both cars in person. Slavia is a bit faster & soft ride. Rest overall quality of material and virtus handling is far better. You test it out yourself both in person before buying. Do test both same day itself to feel the difference.

Mera dost kaam karta he VW ke assembly plant me, dono gadiyon ki production line saath saath lagi hui he.
Kabhi 1 production line band ho jati he to 1 hi line se dono gadiyan ban ke nikalti he, dono me same parts assemble hote he.
They are exactly same in build quality and fit n finish.
Bass cosmatics aur varients features offering alag alag kar diye he taki bilkul same na lage.

I did not like slavia virtus for main 2 reason
Bad plastic in interior
When we see this car on roads we can clearly see its under body

The interior plastics of virtus don't match the quality of older VAG models. Additionally, the DSG DQ200 transmission is not well-suited for TDI engines; I've had to replace the mechatronic unit in my Vento four times. However, the DSG DQ200 performs more reliably with TSI engines.
Regarding the underbody, the high ground clearance is noticeable, but I find the Slavia's underbody quality to be worse than the Virtus. I also drove the Verna, which has speed but lacks control and the VAG DNA. This made the Virtus my only option after the Vento, as I had no other choices left.
Ultimately, you should choose a car that offers long-term satisfaction and peace of mind.

Mileage will be depend on how you drive. it gives 4.5 KM/L with my driving in city. while other people with same car getting 12-14KM/L in city and even 20+ on highway.

Milage will be in single digit while driving in city. Don't expect more than single digit, I have slavia 1.5dsg and how careful / light pedal you drive you won't get beyond 8-9 max in city traffic. If milage is your criteria this car is not for you. On open roads you will get upwards of 15kmpl.
