It does feel worse due to how open it is and with social media but alot of these players get a solid education, develop into good people and use said education.

    Its also rich that Saban is still sour. Saban has been giving out more Hellcats than an army recruiter for year. As soon as the rest of the country could start paying players like Saban has been doing for years, he retires. I guess it sucks having to actually compete. If he was such a great coach, why didnt her win a Natty at MSU? Why did he leave LSU to go to Bama? He went where he could best pay recruits.

      I've always said I can never call saban the goat. I watched him cry n whine about recruiting against umich 😂. Like anytime he failed...he ran for an easy fix. So idc if he has 500 rings. He couldn't do it here. Period. N I can name coaches at both umich and msu that have done it. So yes even as a umich fan I'll always have more respect for d'antonio then I do for saban.
      Hell he was asking for his job at msu back after he left 😂. Ofc msu said no so he was stuck...till he could run to bama. So no he's just a salty washed up coach that's upset everyone can now pay players. It's to much for him. Just like it was at msu and lsu. I have more respect for their current coach. If the playoffs we have now were implemented the entirety of Jim Harbaugh’s Michigan career he would’ve went almost every single year. He just couldn’t beat OSU until he got an elite coaching staff, and a 5* QB which he had all of those in 2021-23.       It's an NIL contract. He only gets paid if he meets the terms of the contract.
      This means he both has to earn his spot as starting quarterback *and* stay on the team for 4 whole years.
      If he fails to meet those or any of the other terms of the agreement (those details not publicly disclosed as far as I know), he does not get that full amount.
      He was *not* paid to commit to Michigan. A big carrot of what he *can* get paid if he meets the terms of that contract was dangled. Important distinction.
      This isn't like some kids who mysteriously show up to signing day driving a Lambo. Michigan doesn't play that game.
