Every year OSUx seems to think they are going to destroy Michigan in The Game...but the Bucknuts haven't gotten the job done (still on 3rd base) since the previous decade.
I know it's just Northwestern, but I feel like this is how Michigan should have looked all season, should be 9-2 or 8-3 after tonight but it's been a good learning experience for Moore
everything happens for a reason.. this season had Moore truly questioning if this is what he wants to do long-term and if he was made for it. He realized this is his team and had to take 100% responsibility for everything.. Harbaugh left him with no coaches and no QB prospects... Moore chose that this is his purpose and chose to fight and figure it out. you can see that michigan figuring it out real time. Im seeing progression, theyre wayyyy tougher now than they were earlier in the season..they were scrambling for their identity, whereas now it looks like smash football.. which reminds me of last year's progression. next years schedule looks better as well.
It is worth noting those were both home games for Northwestern against IU and OSU. The only teams to beat Michigan in Michigan this year are in the top 3 in the rankings.
Honestly, it's more likely (and hopefully have) that they've taken notes from the chiefs. I know Warren is not even close to Mahomes, but the chiefs have played small ball all year this year and have won games. Michigan has a good enough defense that if they stick to small ball, they have a chance (however small that is) to beat ohio state.
@@JLM6619 I mean, Michigan has not scored 40 points in a game all season and this is something they should’ve done against Arkansas State earlier in the year. I know it’s Northwestern, but when we’re looking good in front of the #1 recruit in the country that we picked up, it’s good progress
Mich will have to play this well and then some to compete with OhioSt next week. Anything can happen in a rivalry. This week just proved that nothing is certain.
I don't understand why we don't use Mullings more. He's the better back. We've known he's been good af and better than Donovan yet we still give most reps to Donovan. We hardly used Mullings in the Texas game.
What people seem to forget is that even if we lose next week, We (Michigan) beat them at there best while they (Ohio State) are beating us at our worst. That's the difference between us and them. 💙💙💙
@kev614 It's football. Field goals are easy to do even by terrible teams. You're just either attention seeking or your standards are ridiculous. Probably a little of both.
The offensive play calling strategy seems very different today. Very quick short passes. Not long developing concepts. Maybe this is the solution moving forward.
Sherrone had to have called this game, or at least have split duties with Kirk, the offense looked crisp everywhere almost all game idgaf if it was NW either, it feels good to see Michigan play well.
While the chances are insanely slim there’s always hope in a game like this. Gotta come outta the gates firing and quiet the horseshoe if we want a chance. We’ll see ya never know we proved that today! Great dub today and excited for the future. Go Blue!!!
Don't sweat it too much. Blue Nation. We are still the champs. We're rebuilding another monster. We got the grit still. And we got that guy coming next year. A true QB . And most importantly we haven't beat O nio slate ( spelling is deliberate). That's our championship for ANY season. Now let's GIT UR DON
Michigan got away with PI in the end zone, period. Defender has to be looking at the ball if contact is made, and there was plenty of that but no call? Glad UM is doing better....
If the QB is wrapped up and forward progress is stopped the play is over. They don't have to be taken to the ground. That happens a lot, even with other ball carriers when forward progress is halted and they are clearly not going anywhere
@@brandonrae2141 Brandon your comment tells me you know nothing about football michigan lost alot of players jim left the program with nothing just know bryce underwood is gonna give you clowns 3-4 losses when he becomes the QB at michigan

Agreed. There is hope for the future but definitely somewhat of a disappointment this year. Ya never know what will happen in Columbus
Agreed.

Absolutely. Washington, Illinois, and Indiana were all absolutely winnable.
This is the most points scored all season against Northwestern, which did play Indiana and Ohio State earlier this year.
And Michigan already lost to Indiana
It is worth noting those were both home games for Northwestern against IU and OSU. The only teams to beat Michigan in Michigan this year are in the top 3 in the rankings.
Are you seriously trying to use transitive property with NORTHWESTERN??! 🤦🏿
Looks like Sherrone Moore took some notes at the Lions game this past Sunday and incorporated it into his game plan. He’s improving!
this team looks totally different now than they did first few games. looks like they have an identity finally.
Honestly, it's more likely (and hopefully have) that they've taken notes from the chiefs. He’s improving against one of the worst teams in the Big Ten?
@JLM6619 considering how bad the coaching has been against other inferior teams this year, yes, this is definitely improvement.

Finally a game that Michigan looks, and plays, like Michigan.
Good to see Edwards get one more touchdown in the Big House
I am getting for Jordan Marshall receiving more snaps next year. He’s looking explosive

It makes no sense. Mullings should get 15-20+ carries every game and the Don like 5-10. Especially running inside.
I hope this same team shows up next week against OSU
wow they actually looked like a decent team for once lol

First time all year Michigan looked competent.
The Michigan Wolverines!
-bowl game ready!
-great win by all squads!
-running back by committee!
-Northwestern, no trips to the end zone!
Yeah they played northwestern but I’m happy 😃 Michigan finally played a game in which it wasn’t a struggle or hard to watch
Playing like we expected. With the Underwood news, a defeat of OSU next week would make this a great ending.
last second 60 yard field goal from zvata. The buckeyes would be sick lol

Having four first round draft picks and struggling to make a bowl game is just depressing.
Get over yourself. They just had an incredible three-year run. No one owes you or any other Walmart Wolvie anything.
