Dubas has done such a wonderful job!!! We are still trying to recover from his reign in Toronto. Pittsburgh is my second favorite team in the NHL and it broke my heart that they chose Dubas as GM as I knew what the players and fans would be subjected to.
I don’t think Dubas did a bad job in Toronto. It’s not his fault that the big guys can’t step up in the playoffs. His worst decision was keeping Matthews. Matthews has shown over the years that he is not a guy that you can win with. On a cup winning team he would be a complementary player he wouldn’t be the guy.
exactly this... I've been saying this for like 4 years now... Crazy how untouchable Sully is when you look at the other coaches that lost their jobs in the last 5 years... Coaches that have had more success than he has... We haven't one a playoff round in 6 years and have wasted good years of the core... Everyone has been gone except Sully and season after season we have gotten worse, its too late now unfortunately...

I mean it's obvious as day that he's doing a rebuild. The Penguins stink. There's so much wrong with this team its not even funny. If Dubas were to waste any assets now or even improve the team a little it will prolong the rebuild even longer. It blows my mind how the majority of the fan base can't see this

It’s not even just Sullivan. It’s dubas and ownership…they haven’t given the team or the coach players to be competitive…..they traded Jake and got nothing and signed only scrubs this offseason. So why would anyone be shocked they are bad?
You aren't serious right? Jake was on an expiring deal and wasn't coming back. Guentzel played 28 games for the Hurricanes and the Pens got a top 6 forward, two better than average prospects, and a 2nd round pick in exchange. They won the trade.

He tries very hard for many years now to polish his image as super intelligent BUT ITS A ACT I CAN SEE RIGHT THROUGH IT.
