Mike Sullivan has to have dirt on someone in that head office to still have his job. There is just no other way. And he should have been fired 6 years ago. He's destroyed the Pittsburgh Penguins team. And to the owners and GM, you've lost all respect in the NHL holding onto this loser.

I’d love to have Dubas sit there next to Sullivan and face some tough questions from reporters.

this is what eventually happens to every successful NHL team. it's time for a rebuild which may take 7 years or 9.. this is just the price you pay for 16 years of playoffs and 3 cups with the same core. nothing to be sad about, unless you are an absolute gloryhunter.

Then fan base running a team is a joke. They would lose the room in thirty seconds. Calling these high profile players out would be the biggest mistake. With a history of bad GM's making absolutely horrible contracts, prolonging the wrong guys........and running with a coach this long, roll that up in a ball and thats what you get. I saw one of the best players of all time score his 600th goal...........and the team gave up after that. A great moment for the franchise! Now, do what is great for 87 and get him off this titanic, his career is too valuable to finish with this team. This year is just the icing on the cake, I actually laugh now when other scrub teams beat up on them, all my passion and fire as a fan was robbed from me over the prior 3 seasons. Sullivan never made certain guys accountable, he allowed their bad habits and he wonders why they can't lead or play the right way! Get Sid out of Pittsburgh!

Sid misjudged this team and thought they could still be competitive. He’ll never see the playoffs again unless he asks to be traded.

Continue the tank, play geno and sid on a line, getting sid a point per game is all that matters, sell whoever tf you can. Get a top 5 pick hopefully. Hope our top prospects make the team next year and be a big player in fa, quick retool

This is such a terrible roster though. A new coach won't do anything.

Start with the stale coach. He hates playing young players. He still can't fix the PP woes. Dump and chase with a slow team. The D leads in the offensive zones, which creates the opposite 2 on 1 breaks.

FSG seems to have failed by believing the Dubas word salad. You see this sort of thing all the time in corporate America and politics. He was just a bad hire based on his expertise and results to date. His reformation of the Pens has been in a word..horrible. And now we have Dubas on top of Hextall, and this is what you get...a long road home.

I’ve been disappointed with Dubas. I guess he didn’t have a lot to work with when he arrived. Rutherford made a lot of great moves but man that Brassard trade was horrible. Some have said 71 should’ve been traded 5 years ago. But that wasn’t going to happen probably his last year anyway. EK has been a complete bust. If he’s not going to play defense just make him a winger. 87 is going down with the ship I guess. You know it’s killing him . START THE REBUILD NOW. Stop the madness

Crosby is awesome and an all time great but is he a leader…a vocal, get guys to play hard leader? Idk.

This is just where we’re at. I find no fault with Dubas or Sullivan. This team is a car with 200,000 miles. If you fix one thing then another thing breaks down. Ride it out this year. Let’s get a top 5 pick and analyze each player in the off season. Do not spend a single future asset in order to get a worse draft slot. Play youth with the vets that won’t give up. Let the vets who give up watch from upstairs.

I don't see a single point in the Pens immediate future. Lucky for me, I expanded my appreciation of hockey to the entire NHL. There are 32 teams in my league, and there is a lot of good hockey being played. If you win more than one Stanley every 32 years, give yourself a pat on the back.

The biggest mistake Pittsburgh made was hiring dufus, lifetime leafs fan and seeing what he did with toronto in his years here and now seeing what treliving has done with toronto after a season is huge. Massive difference from running an ohl and ahl teams compared to the NHL.
