1 YEAR With The C8 Corvette (Is It Still Good?)

- 1 year and 12,000 miles later! This is my 2023 Corvette 3lt and today I’ll go over my personal experiences with the car, any issues I’ve had, and the things that still impress me about the C8 in this video!

Great video! Totally agree man, I love my c8 more and more each day. Every time I look in my garage and see it, it feels like when I first picked it up. Feels surreal.

According to a video I watched the bulbus rear was for them to be able to accommodate golf clubs in the storage compartment behind the engine. Not sure if this is true or not but sounds about right. How did you end up with a blue interior? Is that only an option with 3LT? Sharp looking Corvette. 😁

Did GM address the dash delamination for you? I'm debating getting a 3LT just like yours. Also in the South. Don't want to deal with killer dash delam when it's out of warranty lol

Been looking at C8s for a while now, not much of an car enthusiast so if I got one it'd be my primary car. What are your thoughts on dailying a car like this? I live in Atlanta and the roads here are not the best, so I'd definitely be getting the front end lift.
This kind of car is for parties and special events or to show off so you may need a 2nd car for daily use
The car is a phenom...... But I would have done the back side over - It's FUGLY at some angles. Would I ever trade in my '21 C8 ? - Not for the next couple of years I won't.......
I just orded the last run of 24 in Rapid blue in a 2LT. But I didn’t understand your comment about the light chip and chevy covering front bumper damage . Why not have Xpel applied to front bumper ?
Expel doesnt stop the bumper chipping near the headlights and in some cases will make it worse…also chevy wont pay for xpel to be reinstalled on the car if you have to have it repainted

Does not having it manual really matter to you? The car is amazing I’m sure, I’m just a huge fan of manual transmissions. I have a C6 Z06. Do you get used to the auto pretty quick? Still fun to drive?
I love manual cars but the DCT in the C8 is amazing. It shifts fast as hell and is actually fun in manual mode. Launch control is crazy on them also

The dash issue and been a long standing issue with the 3s. I shy away from them for that reason.

For under 100k No doubt. If I had the choice in a C7 StingRay & a C8.......?IDK. That's a toss up....

The only thing I hate about the engine is the DOD (displacement on Demand). This should not be in a corvette.

Soooooo that fact that Ferrari style cars clearly influenced the design of this car still doesn’t bother you? It’s the main reason why me and several others don’t like the c8 body style oh and the fact that the mid engine is a fancy way to put the engine in the rear…like a Ferrari

Z06 is overkill for street imo. Regular stingray is perfect for the road, Z06 I agree if you are putting it on the track but Z06 will get you killed on the street.
Couldn’t agree more with you. In this model the C8 is the deal.
The moment the security informed you that the drone wasn't allowed; land the thing and pack it up: don't try to weasel in a few more minutes by showing off its capabilities or features. You happened to be lucky by being approached by a polite and reasonable person . Say. "Sorry , Thanks, and Goodbye in that order.
