Love your vids, I have the brushed outlaw, seems good. FTX stuff is definitely value for money .does seem that outlaw are either great or problematic, maybe 2 factories, or as you say Friday cars

Great over view and info mate, it's crazy dave on steroids 💪😁 all my ESC's are programmable and it helps out depending on driving style or vehicle being used, running brushless I always use a sensored motor and esc 👍😉🐿️

I put ftx mauler tyres on mine.Makes a load of difference.Running a razer 10 3250 combo.Less grip so i have not broke any transmission in 20hrs of running.Loads of fun on 3s.

They all have faults no matter what brand/model it is. That's half the fun of ownership and running em when you have to diagnose and repair them. Sometimes a modification can make it a different vehicle and last much longer (take the kanyon chassis mod for example) It's great that you share the good and bad points so others can make a choice on whether to buy one or not considering honest reviews and opinions like yours being chucked into the mix. Great review......keep killing em so we can see where the problems lie with the build quality or if its simply your ham fisted throttle control!!😜😂 Cheers and keep safe....

Great video. I've got one , it's big fun on 2S 5000 lipo but exactly the same problem as your's , the rear central cvd twists every 2 packs. The steel upgrade ftx 8377 exists but is no longer available or very difficult to find. Some users say it doesn't change the problem, i don't know. Have you got a solution for that? Maybe adjust the rear desk lower? Change tires?
thanks, they are great fun these things, im running traxxas slash wheeks on it atm and I've had zero issues with the car now. I replaced the shaft with a half steel one from my local model shop ( stock replacement ) and its been fine. I've lost very little too end speed and the car handles like a rally car now, way more fun , cherrs for stopping by 😀👍🐿

The big has gotten to me and been looking at these. Can get a band new brushed one with my nectar points for about 95 maybe a 2nd hand brushless one for 140 which they all seem to have front bumper broke off at chassis. Not sure 😕 what you think yourself?
ha ha yes know what you mean about the bumpers being broke, mine is too but I put hot glue on it and it's not broken again. what a lot do is buy the brushed version then get a cheap brushless combo to put in it as its still cheaper than the the brushless one. but to be fair I love the thing . hope this helps . feel free to ask any questions and if I can help I will. cheers for watching 😀👍

yes that's the way to go I think with less grip , I run slash sct wheels now which are smaller but it's way better. they are great fun though 😀👍

My mate got the brushed one & 5 motors in & a hobbywings esc upgrade it can do a 30 minute trail 🤔

My mate likes to push as much power out of a motor as he can ( till it burns ) but think he getting it sorted slowly , love the videos 👊
