    I have watched a couple of his videos - it's terrific! He's a great guy. Who is he? An English teacher? A polyglot? A linguist? He definitely understands what he is talking about. It's kinda scientific approach. I like it very much.

      It's true. It's a pleasure and it's effective. Christian articulates and pronunces the words well. It's encouraging. It's a good thing because we are not obliged to put on the subtitles that are fake friends when we want to improve listening. Indeed, we could focus only on the sounds of words and the links between them. This will allow us to progress in listening and thus in understanding. Christian is very smart, sensitive (sage). A very good teacher.
      Thank to him.

    The way you explain is just very interesting: using simple words as far as possible and clear pronunciation helps understanding quickly, especially for non-native speakers. Let me tell you that it is the first time i saw a native speaker giving English lessons so simply. It is always too quickly and too hastily, Thank you from an Algerian translator.

    Christian you could have some fun with the locations of prepositions. The old rule was "never end a sentence with a preposition". Legend has it that Winston Churchill made fun of this so-called rule by stating that "Ending a sentence with a preposition is something up with which I will not put" 😊. For students of English, the phrase "to put up with" means "tolerate", and it contains TWO prepositions, "up" and "with". Winston was making a clever joke with his sentence, breaking the prepositions out of the verb phrase "to put up with", to illustrate the absurdity of the whole thing.

    Hy Christian. I have just seen your new message to the "Teachers". Ofcourse I liked it very much, but I think this is a message for the next generations because it is very hard perhaps impossible to change somebody who is already adult, doesn't? You are absolutely right that when I returned tired from my job the last thing I want to do is to learn foreign language, but I have done this all day long. I want to describe you something. Today I receive one young man who got pneumonia. He feels rather bad and he thinks he had cancer! But he doesn't have cancer "just" pneumonia even though heavy. I had to calm him and I did. Moreover I "have" young woman with diabetes. We have just discovered his desiese. She is poor and refuse to tree herself but I can't be allowed her to do this. All day I have tried to persuade her to start treetment with Insulin. Finally I manage! And at the and at the day when I got home the apricot bendy was so tasty. Sorry for writing this sadness, but the life is not only entertainment especially my one. By and you already know-be healthy. Venci your favorite...

    • @Canguroenglish
      @Canguroenglish  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Venci! Your job is so important: every day you deal with life and death. You have to be a confidant, a healer, a counsellor, a technician, and more. The world is lucky to have you. Keep making a difference! And that's why it's so important to enjoy studying your English, so it can be a fun hobby, and not a chore! Keep going!
