Brings back memories 😅 Just a little thing I did catch: Harmony Trailblazer E0 is available now right after beating Cocolia. They changed that. It makes super break really early accessible. Although for Eidolons you do have to wait till Penacony.
One thing I have to say is thet I disagree with not investing in Serval unless you have THerta, both Belobog and Penacony are full of lighning weak enemies, so I would recommend investing in her regardless since otherwise your lightning options are Premium characters or Arlan

There's a huge error in the video. HMC doesn't unlock in Penacony anymore. They come from the travel log at about the same time as you get PresMC. Their Eidolons won't be available till Pencony but the quality of the 1.x free characters is so low that basically does not matter. Also, speaking from the experience of having been new towards the end of Aventurine's banner, just use Natasha in absense of better options. It's very easy to be hard walled on all sides without her and still not be invested enough to easily tackle PF2 to get Lynx. Helps reduce relic grinding necessary to do story.
I've been playing since 1.0 but I still watched this from start to end - and thoroughly enjoyed it! It felt kind of nostalgic - seeing Guoba explain all of these mechanics to new players reminded me of when I was first learning them, which brought back so many fond memories. It was also pretty fun seeing if I could guess what he would suggest next and compare his tips to what I would recommend to someone who was just starting out. Speaking of which, for any new players who may be watching this video and have found this comment: take it from a veteran player - this is some truly *fantastic* advice. I wish I had a guide like this when I was starting my journey (though the process of figuring everything out by myself was also very fun in its own way, if severely inefficient 😆)
I will say, asta is such an underrated support for anyone interested in more difficult content, her speed buff is incredibly useful for clearing things quickly and with meshing cogs as an incredible accessible cone option it just makes her even more valuable in my opinion
@ bronyas biggest problem is that even at e1 and with her cone she uses so many sp that it can make playing certain units with her difficult, robin i agree but shes a limited harmony so ofc shes better

This really helped me, clear guide that don't spam you with abbreviations that as a player playing for a few days not really understand yet. I'm really digging the minigames especially, but also the visuals, combat and especially the graphics. I got The Herta after around 70 pulls, I'm so happy.
some tips as a person who reroll every month, for exploration you can use the finality sight to open the remembrance trailblazer early so you can freeze mobs and doing puzzles unbothered and if you have moze you can use him for easier exploration
You can't go wrong with lingsha - coz you can go break/general healer/fua/summon/cleanses even if lingsha is cc'd. Very underrated and honestly with her and gallagher your sustains for both teams in the later/endgame content is established. From there you can pick n choose what characters/metas you wanna get dps/sub dps wise with a harmony support thrown in.
Something kind of irritating they did is decrease enemy strength at all equilibrium levels except the last one, and now the jump from 5th to 6th is actually massive, likely overwhelming unsuspecting new players.

I'm not gonna sit here like "yOu NeEd To PlAy MeTa" because you don't... but you do absolutely have to have competent teams or else you will get dps checked on later bosses.

Hey! Thanks for making it. I started around 2 weeks ago, f2p. Already got the Herta and trying to pull Lingsha (hope I cant make it..). Finished Belobog and all sidequests, it's really fun so far. I especially enjoy combat, visuals and story.
Recommend to not take too much time with sidequests. Prioritize story missions so you get more jade and unlock more game modes (pure fiction at Xianzhou, apocalyptic shadows at Penacony) and characters that are tied to story progression. I started mid december and got enough jade for 3 limited characters (Firefly, The Herta, Lingsha; only lost 50/50 once). The current limited time events that give jade are also tied to latest patch content
also if you plan to grind tf outta the game and blaze through your trailblazer levels, don't do the weekly stuff until after the equilibrium if you can, to maximize your drops. same thing applies to the planar events too.

@@dantetheviewer manifesting early 5* for you! while we don't know what 3.x holds, it's hard to go wrong with robin (for like 90% of dps), though waiting for tribbies kit to be announced first is an option too. for this current banner I think new accs will benefit the most from lingsha/the herta depending on what you value, lingsha for comfort, therta to speedrun content faster
Just adding something as i've recently started (2.6), i'd like to add that fire trailblazer is very good for tanking down farmable content where you can borrow a strong DPS, or simulated universe
Oh lord I so thankful o follow this guide already I came from playing Genshin and this guide is a very similar guide for early game in Genshin when I stared HRS I did same thing as Genshin and this guide (all the tips to have a great starting point) I feel HSR really wants me to be here I got like 7-8 5 start characters in less of one moth because I was getting so many early pitys
I have a day 1 account but I stopped playing like 1 week in, halway thru the Belabog story. I just came back and managed to pull The Herta and Lingsha and I am having fun, but it's been VERY overwhelming, even in comparison to other hoyo gachas. This does help quite a bit. I'll focus on upgrading mainly my The Herta team for now, while advancing the story. Hopefully I can pull Robin to be in a good place for the future, account wise

Been playing since 1.0 but decided to make a second account last week for fun and do the recent stories again once the missing English voices are back. I pulled Clara AND Welt on the beginner banner in the same 10 pull so I decided to go for Lingsha so I can skip Natasha altogether. 😂 I appreciate your early relic stat tips! Thanks!
If the remembrance cheese still works in old sim uni, ice march still might be worth investing into then just give the relics to another shielder when you're done
My tips: - Do one weekly rotation - Pick one character you want to build - Do weekly nameless honor mission first at least until lv.50. - Farm exp for lighcone and characters. - Farm artifact and planar set until you get at least recommended main stat first. - Farm stagnant shadow - farm trace materials. - once that character got to lv.80 and max lv. Trace, start farming artifact for ideal stats.
Huge news for new players, you can unlock every materials in the game, no matter what planet, you just have to be a certain level and tons of early access to events and story
there's a minor thing i've noticed that might throw off new players - at 10:23 you avoided showing the paths due to spoilers, but earlier on in the video you showed a sample THerta team with one of the aforementioned Trailblazer paths
I do wanna say as someone who recently created an alternate hsr account, Lingsha was actually the mvp of my team, being able to dish out decent damage while sustaining my team. Especially useful for an account if you don't have any healers/shielders and don't intend to use any of the f2p options like Natasha.
I got bailu and I tried for lingsha, but lost the 50/50. I almost have enough wishes now that I can get her but I'm stuck as I need tribbie for my therta, and then 3.2 is sooo stacked. I want castorice as my second dps so her then Sunday and anaxa to complete my existing teams and then in 3.3 hyacine will be the sustain unit, probably bis for castorice and then the fire preservation unit (which I'm coping could be bis for THerta). But lingsha is also really good with her considering she can apply stacks easily as well. I'm literally torn rn, whether I should get lingsha as my limited sustain or just wait to have better chances on 3.2 characters and then start with the sustains in 3.3 and 3.4(hyacine and the fire preservation unit). But also not having a limited sustain till then could very well hurt my account, I don't want to build natasha, I have bailu but I want to replace her asap as well and I don't have Gallagher too. Ideally I wanted to have Gallagher and lingsha but here I am with e1 bailu🥲🥲and neither of them. What's your suggestion on this situation?
@@saifshaikh5102 This purely just my opinion, but since you have Bailu e1, you may as well build her as a temporary sustain until other healers like Huohuo come out. I can't comment much on Tribbie since I'm not pulling for them, but if you feel they're gonna be good with Therta and you're near guarantee than you should go for it. If you're lucky, you could even get Gallagher randomly on the standard banner.
I will say this: Robin works with both Clara and Himeko. Also, she gets better the faster her teammates are, because it lets her regenerate energy more quickly thanks to one of her traces. Also, do not ignore crit rate main stats before you can farm crit ratio. In some cases, they are actually better because of how much Atk you're already getting, especially with some harmony units such as Asta or Robin on the team. Crit damage main stats are pretty much useless until you have lots of crit rate though, I will agree with that.
My biggest advice for new players: Yes, limited 5 stars are typically much stronger than both standard 5 stars and 4 stars, but do NOT discount 4 stars. They're going to be your bread and butter for a long time, and they're viable even in endgame modes. You're probably not going to be full clearing all the endgame stuff for a while (the last 2 floors of MoC are probably going to be beyond you), but they're still good enough to let you participate in the majority of it. Chase 5 stars, but do not forget to build your 4 stars while you're still relying on them. And, as Guoba points out, some 4 stars like Gallagher, Pela or Tingyun are STILL some of the absolute best units in the game that see play on endgame teams even over some 5 star units. I've been playing the game since launch, and Gallagher is maybe my most used unit right now, he fits on basically every team, and brings way more value than Gepard or especially Bailu do.
As one that calculates how many jades he will have to pull for a character based on daily's, Im glad im not trigger happy when it comes to spending in gacha's. Wish I was like this before I got an R5 deathmatch or R3 black sword
I started playing at the start of January and have had a ton of fun with the game thus far, I have also gotten quite lucky securing The Herta in 40 pulls! Im gonna save for Robin as you recommend but im wondering whether to go for Lingsha as I lack a great sustain rn or potentially The Herta's light cone?
My top advive would be: 1: Until you're hitting a wall at high level, never use any item that lets you roll a specific item (resins). They're really valuable and you won't use them correctly until you've reached the point where building characters well is needed. 2: Never use stellar jades for anything other than limited character banners. 3: until your characters hit lvl 50 it's so ridiculously cheap to level them relative to the endgame that you don't really need to worry about what characters you choose. 4: Until you've got a good grasp of the game, don't roll for duplicates of limited characters. 90% of their utility comes from just having the character until you reach the proper high endgame, but that's a long time ahead. "what does that mean?" Simply put, it's better to get two different characters than the same character twice. E.g. you rather want to get "The Herta" and "Feixiao", than getting "The Herta" twice. 5: Older limited characters are unfortunately a lot weaker than the newer ones. If you find the gameplay fun, you probably want to try the challenges later on, and getting good characters is critical for that. As such, most of the earliest characters like Silver Wolf, Jingliu, Blade, Luocha, and so on, are really underpowered compared to the newer units. If in doubt, get the newer ones.

Robin is after Lingsha. So I'd go for Lingsha first. Considering how powerful the enemies are becoming. New players will need a 5 star sustain. That's the most important for newbies. 💯

As a beginner that played within minutes of game launch, so useful. 🎉
My tips:
- Do one weekly rotation
- Pick one character you want to build
- Do weekly nameless honor mission first at least until lv.50.
- Farm exp for lighcone and characters.
- Farm artifact and planar set until you get at least recommended main stat first.
- Farm stagnant shadow
- farm trace materials.
- once that character got to lv.80 and max lv. Trace, start farming artifact for ideal stats.
Im not new, but I’m watching this anyway. Also at 15:18 Adventure Rank is pretty funny.

there's a minor thing i've noticed that might throw off new players - at 10:23 you avoided showing the paths due to spoilers, but earlier on in the video you showed a sample THerta team with one of the aforementioned Trailblazer paths

I do wanna say as someone who recently created an alternate hsr account, Lingsha was actually the mvp of my team, being able to dish out decent damage while sustaining my team. Especially useful for an account if you don't have any healers/shielders and don't intend to use any of the f2p options like Natasha.
I got bailu and I tried for lingsha, but lost the 50/50. I almost have enough wishes now that I can get her but I'm stuck as I need tribbie for my therta, and then 3.2 is sooo stacked. I want castorice as my second dps so her then Sunday and anaxa to complete my existing teams and then in 3.3 hyacine will be the sustain unit, probably bis for castorice and then the fire preservation unit (which I'm coping could be bis for THerta). But lingsha is also really good with her considering she can apply stacks easily as well. I'm literally torn rn, whether I should get lingsha as my limited sustain or just wait to have better chances on 3.2 characters and then start with the sustains in 3.3 and 3.4(hyacine and the fire preservation unit). But also not having a limited sustain till then could very well hurt my account, I don't want to build natasha, I have bailu but I want to replace her asap as well and I don't have Gallagher too. Ideally I wanted to have Gallagher and lingsha but here I am with e1 bailu🥲🥲and neither of them. What's your suggestion on this situation?
@@saifshaikh5102 This purely just my opinion, but since you have Bailu e1, you may as well build her as a temporary sustain until other healers like Huohuo come out. I can't comment much on Tribbie since I'm not pulling for them, but if you feel they're gonna be good with Therta and you're near guarantee than you should go for it. If you're lucky, you could even get Gallagher randomly on the standard banner.

I will say this: Robin works with both Clara and Himeko. Also, she gets better the faster her teammates are, because it lets her regenerate energy more quickly thanks to one of her traces.
Also, do not ignore crit rate main stats before you can farm crit ratio. In some cases, they are actually better because of how much Atk you're already getting, especially with some harmony units such as Asta or Robin on the team. Crit damage main stats are pretty much useless until you have lots of crit rate though, I will agree with that.
My biggest advice for new players: Yes, limited 5 stars are typically much stronger than both standard 5 stars and 4 stars, but do NOT discount 4 stars. They're going to be your bread and butter for a long time, and they're viable even in endgame modes. You're probably not going to be full clearing all the endgame stuff for a while (the last 2 floors of MoC are probably going to be beyond you), but they're still good enough to let you participate in the majority of it. Chase 5 stars, but do not forget to build your 4 stars while you're still relying on them. And, as Guoba points out, some 4 stars like Gallagher, Pela or Tingyun are STILL some of the absolute best units in the game that see play on endgame teams even over some 5 star units. I've been playing the game since launch, and Gallagher is maybe my most used unit right now, he fits on basically every team, and brings way more value than Gepard or especially Bailu do.

My top advive would be: 1: Until you're hitting a wall at high level, never use any item that lets you roll a specific item (resins). They're really valuable and you won't use them correctly until you've reached the point where building characters well is needed. 2: Never use stellar jades for anything other than limited character banners. 3: until your characters hit lvl 50 it's so ridiculously cheap to level them relative to the endgame that you don't really need to worry about what characters you choose.
4: Until you've got a good grasp of the game, don't roll for duplicates of limited characters. 90% of their utility comes from just having the character until you reach the proper high endgame, but that's a long time ahead. "what does that mean?" Simply put, it's better to get two different characters than the same character twice. E.g. you rather want to get "The Herta" and "Feixiao", than getting "The Herta" twice.
5: Older limited characters are unfortunately a lot weaker than the newer ones. If you find the gameplay fun, you probably want to try the challenges later on, and getting good characters is critical for that. As such, most of the earliest characters like Silver Wolf, Jingliu, Blade, Luocha, and so on, are really underpowered compared to the newer units. If in doubt, get the newer ones.

Robin is after Lingsha. So I'd go for Lingsha first. Considering how powerful the enemies are becoming. New players will need a 5 star sustain. That's the most important for newbies. 💯
