Also, if you live in a hilly area, I would wait for the AR. It sucks when bigger manufacturers / companies buy up ALL of the Shimano parts, leaving the up and coming companies like AR with little to no options. I applaud their transparency and the fact that they reach out and reply to their customers. You wont get that with Super73 either. BTW, I ordered back in Nov and paid for all of my bikes. 🐾

I was reading a review yesterday and the guy who was doing the review said he got the bike for free for the review which is what made me say that. You are right they have great customer service and the whole thing was for me my girlfriend was in a bad wreck with my car in December and I was laid off as a sous chef so i was getting the bike to just save money. Needless to say i start at a new company in 2 weeks and was really counting on the bike for transportation. My work is 6.5 miles away and uber/lyft has become extremely unreliable to use for work and we have no public transportation in north phoenix which is insane being the 5th largest city in the us. So I am just stressed out about it. I understand things are out of their hands i hope they come through a little early. Hopefully they can get an investor to help these things from happening.

Might be inappropriate use of the X-class, but Fountainhead regional park has several single-track MTB trails ranging from green circle to black diamond. The X might handle the green circle trail, but the black diamond would be a bit of a stretch. Careful, I took a bad spill and lost a lot of skin on the black diamond a few years back!!
I thought you said this is going to be a range test, this is more like a sightseeing cruise with you and your dog! You have to find somewhere you can go full bore throttle only until the battery drains down to get a proper range test..
I used to take my rat terrier that weighs about 15 lb on 100 mile trips on my Kawasaki of course I had a heavy duty back rack with an enclosed doggy hotel or whatever they call them and all I would have to do is pick up my motorcycle keys in what she'd run straight to that motorcycle.

I can see future problems with e bikes on trails I'm watching the way some people are reacting to your approach and you are very courteous others I see on you tube are not like everything else the few will spoil it for the rest . E bikes here in Maine are considered motorized vehicles and almost every hiking walking ,bike trail has a no motorized vehicles sign the laws here are somewhat vague but over a certain watts and speed you have to get a moped tag and an atv tag to use the atv trails which is where I'll be spending most of my time . Great video I watched part 2 first not sure why they just popped up on you tube that way

DC has so many kids on ATVs and dirtbikes running lights and doing wheelies, that police dont even bat an eye towards ebikers unless they are being reckless

Is it normal for the battery gauge on lcd screen to drop a bar or 2 while full throttling? But once I let off of throttle the gauge goes back up. Just got a xclass 52v the other day

I've not been brave enough to test it, but have read of several other AR owner's that have submerged motors while riding and have had no issues. IDK how long they can stay submerged however they do appear to be well sealed. 🐾
Full throttle with no pedaling will get you 21-26 miles, depending on elevation and terrain. That was the result of this range test, I still need to go back and do the same route again to see if that number changes now that the battery is balanced.
