So, I have an aerial rider 52v X-class electric bicycle. Awesome bike! Can't say enough about it. Love all these how to do videos, but let's say someone is posting how to upgrade tires. People need to explain what they are upgrading to and why,and the new product model, name, price, where to get it and what particular ebike it will fit. Maybe they'll get sponsors that way by mentioning companies that sell the products.
Very thorough, but may I suggest two more categories? 1) A section on pedaling around WITHOUT power. If I plan badly and run out of juice, how reasonable is it to pedal those last five miles home? 2) How far will it typically go at the legal moped speed limit of 25 mph under power only?
TBH the Onyx CTY2 for a tad bit more is a very good step-through. E-bikes are getting quite a few things wrong by trying to fit into the wrong parameters. Nice bike & selection though. Runner up non-step-through is the Revv1 by Ride1up, very nice package out of the box.
I have 2 questions: 1) With respect to taking the rear wheel off; is there a motor quick connect near the back brake rotor to just separate the motor wire. I ask this because some bikes like the ride 1up revv1 don't have it. 2) does this bike have cruise control.
The hub motor wire/cable plug to disconnect is located on left side under the foot peg. It's very easy to access and only held in place by a wire tie to frame. Also this bike doesn't have cruise control.
Nice review this looks like the perfect size ebike im looking for im 5'10" so should fit me about right? Was looking at the wired freedom but heard that bike is very tall and big? What is the top speed set to from the factory on it? I know you can unlock it for higher speeds but around 20 to 25 is plenty for me. Does this bike feel very heavy i like having nimble feeling bikes. Thanks
You are within the height range. It is going to depend on how much you plan to pedal and your inseam. From the factory it comes set to 20mph. And can be turned up to that 25mph you want pretty easily. I think the bike didn't feel heavy. Thanks to the moped style, seating position and tires, it still felt very nimble.
With a class 2 sticker on it from the factory. You have to manually unlock it for more speed. I guess that's the loop hole. I'm putting mine together now! 👈💯

I just ordered my own X-class about 30 minutes ago lol. Can't wait for it to come in.
Sameee how you liking it?

Great review overall, but how about reviewing the bikes capabilities using pedal assist with the default 20 mph speed setting.
Adjust your tire size and that bike speedo may be more accurate. I would love to own any of the Ariel Rider bikes.

Right on!
How does that bike ship as a "class 2" with a 1000 watt motor?

This or the Ghostcat?
X CLASS is freaking awesome 👍👍👍👍
Between the knobbie tires and metal-sandwiched planetary gears, that is ONE noisy eBike.
yeah, the power doesn't help
