Definitely not taking it over a onyx cty2. If you can get it on sale. Only con with the cty2 imo is that it could use a better stock battery. It’s small for taller riders too.
Outside of that its faster, WAY more quiet, smoother take off but has faster acceleration, better tires, better display, etc

So...if you had done the trip entirely in single motor/rear motor mode, how much further do you think you could have gone. You really don't need AWD when biking in a flat area. I'm thinking very seriously about purchasing this bike. Thank you for the great video.

just finished building my 2000w 72v 60ah rear wheel hub motor electric bike a couple months ago and the fastest i've gone so far is 49mph, really wanna hit that 50! it usually goes between 32 and 45 depending on the headwind and the incline of the road.

👍Took out my Aerial Rider - D Class 52V exploring today. Forgot how loud that puppy is compared to Wolf King GT Scooter. LOL Stoked to see the V2 Grizzly Range Test! Passed on Grizzly V2 (Hard Choice) and purchased C3STROM Deluxe w/ Full Suspension and am still waiting on my Revv 1 to come in mail passing up Super73 R-Adventure Series. Hope I made 2 good decisions here…(Revv1 & C3STROM Deluxe); time shall see.

Bro in mode one you can probably hit almost 100 miles if not more I did about 40 miles full throttle, running both motors and both batteries
You should have charged the battery while you had lunch. Or suggest to the bike supplier for extra batteries.

Would it help to use one motor and one battery at a time until it gets low, and then switch to the second motor and battery. Might give you range?
It’s always better to use the two batteries at the same time…. I’ll have to do the one motor test soon.
had my grizzly a week just riding on local roads-got a flat tire could not believe it since after their tire claims-pushing a 125lb bike or I should say carrying it as too heavy to push with no air in the tire was simply awful -my level of disappointment is HIGH

It really depends on the style of riding I want to do I like doing a lot of wheelies recently, so I choose a bike with a single motor super73 RX … but really I have so many different styles of riding I do that’s why I have so many bikes
@@SHREDDIEMCSKATE Yeah I get it you do have a pretty damn decent amount of bikes lol There really is so many different riding styles. But imo I’d have to go Super just on preferences because there’s so many aftermarket mods and upgrades you can do to get you that speed or range or power and torque you want out of the bike. The quality is there also when you get a solid bike from them with no hiccups and the shipping company doesn’t f you over during the transport.

My motorcycle will do 300 miles of range at 70 mph on 7 gallons of gas and a fill-up takes 5 minutes. My e-bike will do about 100 miles (with pedaling) at 14 mph. Why do I need a Grizzly?

The few beaches near me that allow motorized vehicles usually allow cars and trucks too and my truck can carry a cooler, a beach chair, and a beach umbrella. That's no argument for a Grizzly either.

That was awesome! Seeing all the places i go! I did a Fenwick/ OC run the other wk, got 22 miles all Throttle, last wknd did an Indian River inlet run. Topped out at 29 miles, headwinds were terrible, not bad on a 500 w 48v 14 ah folding bike. I just ordered the Ridstar Q20, 1000w 48 v 20 ah.....can't wait to get that moving! I need to find the henalopin trails, they look awesome! Im gonna go up and check out the bike shop in lewes this wknd, saw that on one of ur group ride vid. Would love to do a group ride with u guys, im down here alone from PA, don't have anyone who rides, btw high tide has great acai bowls, that one stop u did past Bethany along the bay is great to thrown in a kayak and chill for the day! Maybe hook up with you guys one day for a ride I'm loving being back into my bikes just like my BMX days
Please confirm: You got about 42 miles while riding with both motors on the whole ride? If so, riding with only the rear motor turned on might get me 80 miles range?
Probably wouldnt get you anywhere near double the range. An AWD car doesnt get double the gas mileage, and you can follow the same logic here. You'd probably get an extra 20-40% without changing anything else

I ride with traffic but not always. There are too many people talking on cell phones while driving. Depending on the street or road, I ride where I can keep an eye on idiots in cars.

Shreddie... AWD's are way cool! How about a XP3.0 with another 48V500W motor in the front and run it with the rear at the same time on a 52V battery and a 40A controller...? Pwr would peak around 2500W on an ultralight AWD... MAybe put a switch on the front hub power for when you're on flat pavement?

@@SHREDDIEMCSKATE Problem arises on where to put these extra controllers. The new 'controllers in the battery base' is a great solution to that problem! Kinda cool seeing this new mode of EV evolve while we're playing with them... My modification plans keep changing because of it!
How about a Fucare Libra - AWD with 1000W hubs and 72V60AH pwr? Full suspension stepthru cargo bike.

Range input from Hilly Vermont. 23miles, 1500 feet of altitude gain, 1700 feet of altitude loss, full throttle, average speed of 26 mph, max speed of 44mph (down a steep hill).

@@hawyothman7566 Not always. 23 miles was one of the loops I do. If I am just climbing hills I can sometimes get as low as 15 miles on a charge. One loop I do in the hills is 14.3 miles, 2300 feet of altitude gain, 1600 feet of altitude loss.
Oww very good my friend, our area has around 200m different in height so typically same as your 700 ft different , my target range is 20 miles, so maybe i can go to work and return to home easily

There was some other reviewer that said the bike blew its front wheel drive going uphill. Have you seen any issues with uphill?

Have about 900 miles on my Grizzly, sometimes going uphill. It's a beast going uphill, no problem.
Still going strong, like the day it arrived.

Come to the east Bay Area trails for miles and miles … and I’m having the same problem.. I can’t pull the trigger on the grizzly thinking there might be something better
