Hi Khay, can you please tell me what your qualifications are. I have a bachelors degree in fashion design as well a a National Diploma in Tourism. Do they accept TEFL courses for entry?
Thank you so much for this video. We need more of these. The drop in opportunities and packages is very scary and it's happening all over the world. I've been following teachers in China and they are also crying.
I had a dream to go to China and teach there but I hear alot of South Africans complaining about the current status happening in other countries thank you so much for this informative video
Hi, I hope you're well. I'm from South Africa. I'm actually working on coming to the UAE, I'm still busy with the paperwork. I'm done with saqa. Now, i still need to abpostille the verification letter and police clearance. So I have B.Ed degree in Mathematics and Life Sciences, SACE, and almost 6 years of teaching experience in the abovementioned subjects, and I have recently completed a TESOL course. I'm currently working in South Africa. What are the chances of employment for me?
Thank you for this video 🙏🏾 it’s as if you created it for me 😂 I discovered your channel last week because I was looking for this information now boom a video from 2 days ago 😅… I guess the ESL experience for South Africans is almost the same in all these countries. I’m leaving China soon and doing some research on other countries

@@RorisangMojakisane I know most jobs require a minimum of 2 years of teaching experience after obtaining your degree. I don’t know if you’ll be able to secure a teaching post. But there’s no harm in trying.
Please, kay, I'm already in UAE. Can I apply to schools in person. I have my certificate and transcript but they are not attested in my home country. Can I use them to apply to schools in person without attestation?
Look out for schools that have walk-in interviews - that’ll increase your chance of success. As far as I know, they require your degree to be attested.
Thank you for highlighting these points. Unfortunately, those who want to come over will only understand these if they actually give it a go. Especially the workload expectations!
Hi i have a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education/ pre school teacher/Nursery teacher from Sweden. Is that something that is attractive in the UAE? Ofc I am looking into adding English course/ certificate to be able too teach in English
Hi dear, Thanks for the onspiring video, do ive got a few questions 1. How much is a fair salary 2. So if i dont have my full degree certificate right now coz of owing fees to the university i studied in, can i still apply and get approved to work there ? And can u pls drop a video of recruitment agencies we can use to apply.. Thank you
@@vanessavilane487 1. Reasonable would be anything from 10 000 AED to 18K depending on housing allowance. 2. You will need to get your degree attested to teach in the UAE so that might be a bit of a problem.

True. There’s new schools opening here almost all the time so there’s still a need but you’d have to lower your salary expectations.
