My ex wife turned me on to October Project when she was the singer for my band Dionysos. We sounded somewhat similar, but had no idea OP even existed at the time. This song haunts me today as one of the most beautiful pieces of music ever written. While I may be divorced now, I am forever grateful to my ex wife for sharing your music with me. Thank you Mary for bringing the soul to my life at that time.
I bought October Project's first CD in 1993. Such a great group. And Mary's voice is the most mesmerizing I have ever heard! She deserves to be much more well known.
I have no words to compare what I see and hear and feel when I click the "play" button or experience this with you live. If I could find the words they would all be kind, encouraging, and beautiful. No one does this like you. You and this song are like the Northern Lights in the sky. It's a felt thing. Love through sound vibrations.

Just as good as that night! I kind of felt like there was a bit of magic in the air, Mary and the Band recieved a standing ovation even before the first set was completed! I think the only thing that could have made the night any better would have been getting to play that Strat :-) This was always one of my favorite songs, and I hope the people that were sitting around me didn't mind that I was singing the harmony parts :-)

I never really enjoyed listening to music growing up. Then family friends played this song for me when I was 12 and I put your CD on repeat. I can honestly say "Deep As You Go" is one of my favorite songs of all time. Your voice is truly amazing and I really do hope to get the chance to see you live sometime! Great performance.
Saw her last night at New Hope Winery in PA. what a great show. She's got one of those voices you don't just hear you feel it like a big hug.

Mary has an incomparable voice. In my mind (and ear) she has supplanted many of my favorite female vocalists of the past.

This song is perfect and nothing needs to be added or subtracted from it. What impressed me most when I first heard OP is the duo of Mary and Marina's voice .The two voices were a good companion to each other.The bass is what carries this song really; very melodic.Flanders poetry is very moving.
