The local people who live there ask me to share, as they want more tourists to come & they will have more jobs. The tourists and expats ask not to share because they don't want other tourists to come. Sorry but I choose the locals, they are my friends and I wish them the best. If this gives more jobs for them, it is more important than the opinion of ignorant tourists

Reading that comment I'm not really sure who the ignorant is. You can clearly see what mass tourism does to local communities and on top of that no self respected surfer would blatantly share a secret spot (which scar reef is not btw), but maybe for insta surfers with zero surf culture might be different.

@@asieretxearte Yeah we can stop at the fact we both agree with: scar reef is not secret. It is less crowded than Supersucks. But everybody knew about this spot long before my TH-cam video, like maybe 10 years before I posted it.

@@xwhite2020 Yeah it’s unlikely that Supers is someone’s “secret” spot, when I was there sometimes last year it was over 200 people 🤷‍♀️
