    Lakey peak is sick but it's a 400m paddle if you are truly lazy and the plastic pollution in and out of the water is a disaster. 6-10 breaks (Nunga Doro L/R, a secret left and right, Cobblestones L/R, Lake Pipe, Peak, Nungas, Periscopes), all within a short scooter ride, probably the densest wave zone on the planet, but don't stay at the cheaper hotels, some don't even have a sink in the bathroom.

    • @DanHarmon123
      @DanHarmon123  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey mate!! Yeah true, that paddle can be long especially after a 4 hour session hahah 😂 And yep, good shout on the cheaper options...usually get what you pay for hahah!!

    Do you think it's better to stay for a week then go to a different break/place or is it possible to stay for months at a time?
    Thanks :)

    • @DanHarmon123
      @DanHarmon123  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thanks mate!! So stoked you enjoy it!! Epic, yeah good shout on Central America!! I't always cheaper to stay somewhere longer as you can rent a place and get ab better deal and won't spend as much money on transport! That said, if you're staying in hostels and taking buses through Central America for example, you can still do it super cheap!! And I like to check out different places and surf new waves, but staying somewhere longer can also mean you understand a break better and score better waves. Try and do a bit of both I reckon :))

    Hey Dan, what'd be the most cost-effective option accommodation wise for digital nomads living in Bali. Do you rent a place for the month or stay at hostels and pay a daily/weekly rate?

    • @DanHarmon123
      @DanHarmon123  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey mate!! Great question... It depends on the standard of living you're happy with I reckon! I'd say if you're happy sharing a dorm and living a hostel life, then that would be the cheapest (some hostels are nice and well set up for working online). But if you prefer your own room, I'd suggest renting a place for a month on Airbnb or something. Then you can get a sick place with a discount :)
