As a huge fan of the upcoming ss Tlk hot rod,I'm glad that there was already an accurate Tlk hot rod, considering how the original toy is literally a repaint and retool of Aoe lockdown, and I like how because of Tlk bumblebee and hot rod,we are seeing them team up in other series's,like cyberverse
I like how in Aoe and Tlk,we see a characters designed like the human culture they like, especially drift and hot rod,and I actually quite liked Tlk hot rod, especially his great robot mod and alt mod
@@Cdr2002 while g1 skids is popular because of idw and his recent legacy toy,it's weird how most of the fans don't know that mudflap was originally from TF cybertron/galaxy force, and cybertron mudflap is famous for only being a shelfwarmer, along with his 2007 movie toyline yellow repaint and beast wars scavenger and transquito
@@Cdr2002 Offensive? Skids and Mudflap were awesome, and this is coming from a black person. They are heavily black-coded and that's what makes me love them. They were hilarious.

That is true. There is a different hardtop version of the solstice, which is way more rare and expensive. It doesn't look the same as Jazz's alt mode but it's hardtop. The Type of Solstice Jazz is, is a unique one like you said.
To be honest,I think with some heavy retooling and repaint,we can actually get a g1 hot rod out of the Tlk design, and we already got some g1-ified designs from bayverse toys, like bot con 2013 spinister out of the hunt for the decepticons tomahawk mold,or bot con 2011 gigatron/overlord and g2 megatron out of rotf bludgeon mold,etc....
I recently got this guy as well and I love it. While it isn't my overall favorite mpm style figure, it is my favorite to mess with; the transformation is complex but in a fun way, and due to its size, it makes for the perfect desk toy.
maybe, just maybe this figure with a G1 redecko and tweaked headsculpt, like...remove the cheek guards, shrink the "bike helmet" a bit and give him a visor over his eyes
For those that say that hot rod never had the spoiler, go check the london pursuit scene, the spoiler is up Also, this is probably the one I might (big emphasis on might) buy over the ss version. Idk that one looks a bit unfinished to me
That just sounds ignorant. The Centenario by design has a spoiler. Regardless of whether it appears in the movie or not, it would be there. Unless of course they are saying some hi-tech Cybertronian failed to notice there is a spoiler in the car he scanned and decided to leave it out :)
@@jkliao6486 nah it's just people complaining that the ss toy has a spoiler. I'm not surprised that people complained about it but I'm very surprised that they didn't even noticed it in the movie lmao
@@Fruit_handler Again, that just sounds ignorant. These super cars have their spoilers up when they are at high speed. It just looks as if the toy version is supposed to be hot rod moving very fast. And I wouldn't be surprised those are the same group people who vocally praised how great the chest inside a chest mp seeker design is but ended up buying none of the three seekers because they can't afford a toy that is $200+
I like this car mode a lot however I think Hot Rod should have been a red Lamborghini Marzal. At least Hot Rod should have been some color of RED. I think the ball was dropped on Hot Rod’s character big time.

Did you know jazz's altmode is the ONLY hardtop solstice? Every other model is convertible and jazz was specially designed for the movie
That is true. There is a different hardtop version of the solstice, which is way more rare and expensive. It doesn't look the same as Jazz's alt mode but it's hardtop. The Type of Solstice Jazz is, is a unique one like you said.
Wonder how many blood sacrifices DX9 had to make to have this piece of black magic made.
Unique toys probably covered that portion lmao( I thjnk this was a collab between both)
@@terogates1 Funny... after what they revealed today? They are some ambitious demons, for sure.
Wait until you see Unique Toys new Optimus Prime for 2007/DOTM.
This figure is amazing, in both modes! Honestly might be the best carbot ever in MPM scale, with all the features and posability.
That LEGO Millennium Falcon is looking good !
You can really tell he's a sales person from all his intros to figures. Keep it up, its the best thing ever!

I’d love a fusion of this movie engineering with alternators vehicle mode attention to detail
8:56 looks more like the Doom Hunter but fair enough
6:09 I saw what you did there💀
This is the 4th La Hire review I saw from different channels.. Showing how in love I'm with this figure

As soon as you told dad that it wasn’t hasbro 😂😂😂 “ oh that explains a lot then” 🤣🤣🤣🤣
6:09 tell me you meant to make that
The thin wheels are only on the Knockoff by the way.
Not really, the original one has thin wheels too.
@@yourmom9200 yup. But the DX9 has better threads

Yes! A fellow Pagani enjoyer. Stinger is the best looking car!
To be fair the movies did have a habit of stopping time for 20 hours so he’s not wrong
6:08 well ain't that a bit ironic
That Intro Edit was sick🤌♥️
You have UT Red Destroyer on pre-order, yes?
We have 2 studio series hotrods but they share zero resemblance to eachother. Definently not gonna be confusing.
*laughs in studio series arcee*
There's only the older rotf legends class arcee, the ss86 arcee and the bumblebee arcee
3 Hotrods, SS86 Hotrod, TLK WW2 Hotrod and TLK main film Hotrod.
Should get some alternators and do a video abt them with your dad
Since he's french he should've been a Bugatti but they already wasted that on Drift in the same movie unfortunately

Hi That Toy Guy!
I conveniently ordered the ko of this guy off showz earlier today
you should get a tlk megatron to contrast with your challenger skybreaker is now a good price for it

Has this figure hold up build quality wise until today? The real DX9 also has thicker tires btw
I own the real one it looks amazing like ur dad said
Can you review a beast wars or beast machines figure?
Where can I find this KO? He looks really good.
i recently ordered mine from tf safari, but i’ve seen some on aliexpress too
