I recently dyed my (originally very dark brown dyed ash blonde) hair purple a dark purple and it turns everything purple. Even when its completely dry. My hands back of my neck all my pillows and scrunchies it's driving me nuts. My color isn't fading but the dye gets everywhere it's been 100 percent dry for 2 days haven't washed it and it's still turning everything it touches purple. If I run my hands through it a couple times my hands turn purple. Do you have any tips as to why this happens and how to stop it. I looked online and it just says to wash with cold water but again it does this when my hair is completely dry not just when it's wet.
Did u wash it well? I mean I died my hair w attic fox and its all good, but I mixed it w another semi permanent dyer from walmart idk if that makes any diff. (I dye mi hair blue and it usually does makes everything blueish , even e permanent or that’s what I ve heard lol but I haven’t had any problems)
If your hair is black and you really want to be able to see the color, definitely. My hair is similar to the brown in this video and purple af shows up nicely but if I really wanted it to pop I would have to bleach my hair too.
hiii quick questionnn, i have black hair and i wanted to dye my hair with arctic fox hair dye called electric paradise and i’m not allowed to bleach my hair, do you think it would show up
HII! Black hair will require a more pigmented shade and even then, you may notice a slight tint to black hair (if anything) .. Sometimes customers find success using more pigmented shades like Purple AF, Aquamarine, Wrath or Ritual 🫶

So it means it really have to bleach my virgin blach hair before coloring it?
