Looking to see how long she left it in and if it worked well...I did my son's medium blonde hair and it didn't dye well and def didn't stay. He was so bummed.
Best option tbh is doing punky color midnight blue and lighten your hair a bit. Punky color won't show up green even if your hair is orange, I've done it and turned out amazing. Midnight blue has purple tones so it cancels the orange blue to green issue. Use ion brilliance bleaching Only bleach once, no more is needed Never use shampoo to wash bleached hair only use conditioner and let air dry. This does not affect the color from sticking and will keep your hair healthy cause I know everyone that dyes over brown doesn't want damage and I assure you, you won't get damage if you do it this way for bleaching. Edit: never use shampoo after bleaching is done only rinse bleach fully out with water then only conditioner let air dry fully then add color. But you can obviously use shampoo the next time you wash your hair but let it get dirty good the first time. I may need to add when using punky color, after (coloring) use a tiny bit of shampoo cause I forogt if you don't the color will stick. Splat Sapphire blue is a better option to avoid shampooing actually. But your hair won't damage much if using tiny bit of shampoo after coloring cause the color already filled the hair cuticles. Hair salons will tell you "no no you need to shampoo after bleach so the color will stick." This is not true, last time I went to a salon they fried my hair this way. The color will always come more vibrant and healthy as long as you keep your hair healthy Which includes not shampooing after bleach since the hair is in such a brittle state it doesn't need more stripping. Of course some NEED to use purple shampoo to get blonde, but a very high end salon will do it a better way to ensure no damage, lol but Brad mondo is the only one that seems to be able to get it healthy and perfect light blonde.

Also trying to decide which shade of blue I should go with seeing as I'm natural blonde and not sure how it'll turn out ahah. Great video though is so nice to watch and you seem so down to earth :)
Hey! Thank you for commenting Zaylek. I didn’t use a ton of conditioner and I really didn’t need it, I had plenty of dye to cover my hair. Finding the right shade is important, the blues with manic panic can have a lot of green tones, if that’s what you are going for though, like a turquoise, it works out, but it will fade out. The other time I dyed my bleached ends blue with manic panic, it faded to a mint green, I can’t remember which blue colour that one was, probably a lighter shade than in this tutorial. I hope it turns out to your liking!
@@alissabeingme ah thank you so much :) that really helps out thank you :) I'm thinking of maybe mixing after midnight with a slightly lighter shade then and hoping for the best ahah. Thank you so much and hope you have a nice day :)

Hey there ❤ question, as it's been a while from this video, hopefully you can help... I'm interested in dying my hair (dark brown) blue without bleach, like you but I was wondering, over time what happens.. does it fade & eventually your natural color shines thru or it stays, fades a bit & just grows out like anything else
I should add a warning to my description that it seems with these washouts, they can leave a permanent tint! They fade but CAN it seems leave a permanent effect. It seems like the blue was very very slight, I wasn't sure if it was just my eyes or if I was still seeing a slight tone change. Not noticeable when my hair grew in though. I did try a different brand after this, also no bleach, same method. That brand was strawberry leopard and I used the Merlot colour. That one I left over night and it hardly faded and like permanently dyed my hair. Where you could very clearly see my roots. I went as far as trying to hide it with gloss and babylights. I didn't think leaving over night could make a different like that, but that must have been why because the manic panic I didn't leave for long and it washed out and faded very quickly. I guess that's why it's called semi-permanent. It's literally half permanent because half of it fades but then you're usually left with some sort of tint.
@@alissabeingme oh ,yeah,I was wondering why irh didn't upload Anyway, yeah,I couldn't sleep and then just saw your notification,so decided to watch lol I'm as idle as an idle washroom 😂😂(it's way late in the night, hence my jokes are quite dumb 😂😂)

i’m sorry, but i see it kind of green and i wanted to use it but i don’t want it to turn out green, is it because of the light that seems that color or did it really turned out green?
It does have green tones in it, it’s like a turquoise colour. I wouldn’t use this colour if you are worried about greenness, it fades out greenish too. Sorry for the extremely late reply!
When I researched, from what I saw they recommended clean hair, maybe that’s better for this dye so I washed my hair and then dried literally right before dying it.
Bleach your hair when its dirty to retain a bit of oil and moisture for the integrity of your hair. Color your hair on clean dry hair. My hair is thick and coily. I only use 15 vol bleach and dev ( which is a mix of 10vol + 5 vol) and the ingrity of my hair it still perfect 👌 You can sleep in manic panic as it is vegan plant dye and a great moisturizer and my hair always turn out great. Cheers
Some of it actually seems permanent because it still hasn't gone back to normal! My hair now has the slightest green tint and is still darker than my natural colour. If I do this again, I'd probably just do the black colour so I don't get a green tint when it fades, or I could use a different blue, maybe the really vibrant one mixed with the black.
Hi Melina, my hair is still not the colour it was before I dyed it, I haven’t done anything with it since besides wash it. The blue tones do fade somewhat quickly and this colour seems to have a lot of green tones. My hair is way darker, no blue tone but maybe the slightest green tinge still? Can’t tell if it’s just the lighter tones in my hair showing through as well or what but it’s not really noticeable. If I were to do this again and wanted to go dark blue again, I would mix the black I think it’s called “raven” with one of the lighter blues that have little to no green tone like “shocking blue” I think it’s called. I was surprised the colour does not wash out completely, I was expecting to have my natural hair colour back but to this day it’s at least a few shades darker.
@@alissabeingme read the descriptions of the colors, they say if they have green or other undertones. I love green, but it doesn't come out.Im doing their enchanted forest.
Thank you! Nice!! I’m thinking if I do this again I will try that out as the one I used had a lot of green tones. Was thinking of mixing the blue with raven to get a dark blue that won’t fade to a have green tinge.
Hey hopefully u respond I need to be rlly sure so my number 1 question dose it damage ur hair ? 2. Dose it wash out 3. If it washes out how many wash’s dose it take to come out Pls answer and I sub and liked ur video
So sorry for the late response!! 1. It does not seem to damage hair, I don’t think there are any truly damaging chemicals, the ingredients look mostly natural besides a few preservatives, I never noticed any damage to my hair, it will not damage hair like permanent hair dyes or bleach do. 2. It honestly may never fully wash out, I feel like my hair is still a slightly different shade than before I dyed it, it’s darker, not blue but a bit darker with maybe the slightest green tinge/tone but no one can really see or notice this. You could try a different blue than I did with not so much green tone. The bright blue colour washes out pretty quickly and it fades. If your hair is blonde it could very well be showing colour forever, I had a friend with blonde hair that it never washed out, she used a red or pink colour. 3. From what I remember, even after a few washes, the vibrancy of the colour may fade, or what could have happened is I just didn’t wash throughly enough when I first dyed it. Every time you wash, the colour actually comes out like the water will be bluish, so it is messy, take that into consideration. If you are concerned of it fading quickly, you could do touch ups, just mix with some conditioner and let it sit for some time then wash. My hair looks to be a darker brown now with maybe the slightest tone change (from warm tone to cold/slightest green tinge). To get to the stage I’m at, it took maybe a month, or about 12 washes, this is a very rough estimate cause I can’t remember, I should have been tracking it. Thank you so much for subbing, I really appreciate it! I was thinking of doing another video using the vampire red or a purple colour.
Ya and it fades into green, I still got a green tinge lol😂 the other blues should work way better, I thought of doing this again mixing the black, I think it’s called raven with one of the bright blues, it will probably work way better and have less green tones!!
@@saintessa I didn’t unfortunately I used up all the dye that day! My hair is still very dark with a greenish hue. I was expecting it to all wash out by now but it’s more permanent than I expected!!! I may do the raven black next, maybe with some blue mixed in and will be sure to do the brows then!😁👍
Unfortunately I didn’t really keep track of this one, I’m making a new video for strawberry leopard (new brand of semi permanent) colour: merlot and recording and keeping track of the fading out process. The manic panic I remember didn’t last that long, the colour definitely faded even after the first few shampoos. With strawberry leopard, I left it on all night, maybe that’s why it’s lasting so long, it’s been almost 3 months and the colour hasn’t even faded, it is really vibrant. Apparently strawberry leopard is known to last long so I don’t know if me leaving it on all night actually made that difference, who knows. I have yet to try Arctic Fox, I’m curious about that one. You can look at reviews on the Sally’s Beauty Supply website for the strawberry leopard blue colours, I think the outcome may vary depending on the colour, but the Merlot colour worked out really well, it’s almost lasting too long lol I’m ready for something new! Thank you for commenting, good luck with your hair endeavours💙
Thank you for the recommend Dorothy! I recently started using baby shampoo lol it says no parabens, phthalates, sulfates or dyes hypoallergenic. The annoying thing is it still has fragrance which could agitate my eczema but it seems to be okay for now until I can find something else. It’s hard to balance the hair dryness with eczema cause when I have a lot of buildup and oils it seems it agitate the itchiness and then if I don’t condition I’m prone to that extra dryness.
@@alissabeingme pH is high in baby shampoo. Could dry your hair out. It is therefore necessary that the pH of infant shampoos be close to the physiological pH, between 6.0 and 7.0. Due to the higher pH range, it is important to remember that the use of children's shampoos is not recommended for adults (especially those with colored hair)
This one did quite fast yes but I will be doing a review soon of the strawberry leopard brand. I left it in for awhile (strawberry leopard) and it’s been still very vibrant after several washes!
Since this video I heard the blow dry is not necessary for this kind of dye! Apparently it makes no difference. I tried a different brand (strawberry leopard) I will be reviewing soon. I left that one in over night, not sure if that’s why but it has stayed vibrant and lasted so long after several shampoos. Has not faded yet. The manic panic says on the bottle I believe you can leave it for one hour or longer.
one hour?!? do u have your hair yet?? usually it requires max 40 minutes. next time perhaps should be better to use the plastic gloves to protect the skin of ur hands. 👋🏻

@@1hinita thank you 🙏
Wow! How long did the color last? My hair is the same shade of brown
Can we just talk about how she’s beautiful and looks like Billie eilish
I thought I'm the only one who thinks she looks like Billie, specially when she colored her hair green
@@elleb.282 yessss she’s so pretty
You are so sweet, thank you so much❤️
How long did the Color last? And did it wash out completely ?
@@alissabeingme yes do this because I want a blue color for my hair not green
@@alissabeingme read the descriptions of the colors, they say if they have green or other undertones. I love green, but it doesn't come out.Im doing their enchanted forest.
So jealous wish I had your thick hair
Wait, how do you do highlights
10:22 Lmao Caught me off Guard but that’s good improvisation!
Hahahha, thank you😅🙏
I love your video! I went with shocking blue manic panic
Thank you! Nice!! I’m thinking if I do this again I will try that out as the one I used had a lot of green tones. Was thinking of mixing the blue with raven to get a dark blue that won’t fade to a have green tinge.
@@alissabeingme That sounds like a great idea, I can't wait to see! Good luck 🍀
Hey hopefully u respond I need to be rlly sure so my number 1 question dose it damage ur hair ?
2. Dose it wash out
3. If it washes out how many wash’s dose it take to come out
Pls answer and I sub and liked ur video
Did you have virgin hair when you dyed it blue?
Yes
Omg I wanted to use this colour on my brown hair but yours came out alot more green than I want :(
Ya and it fades into green, I still got a green tinge lol😂 the other blues should work way better, I thought of doing this again mixing the black, I think it’s called raven with one of the bright blues, it will probably work way better and have less green tones!!
What is the shade name?
I had dyed my hair blue 2x and it was still bleeding blue even when it was faded to an ugly green shade
again, read the descriptions of the colors Manic Panic writes, they'll say if they have a green under tone. There are ways to keep it from bleeding
Really thank you for this
You’re very welcome😃 thank you for commenting!❤️
Yep I have half my hair unbleached red and other half bleached blue and I dyed my eyebrows the red 🙏🤔😂
I pulled it off. Naturally dark btw
Did you ever end up dyeing the brows? Do it! Try it at least once maybe it would turn out awesome 😋
What that seems like the coolest hair colour combo!!! Thank you for sharing❤️
@@saintessa I didn’t unfortunately I used up all the dye that day! My hair is still very dark with a greenish hue. I was expecting it to all wash out by now but it’s more permanent than I expected!!! I may do the raven black next, maybe with some blue mixed in and will be sure to do the brows then!😁👍
@@alissabeingme I've still got the same colours going, it fades to almost turquoise and stays a nice blue on my more recently grown hair up the top.
I got sirens song and honestly im worried it won't go as blue ;-;; pfff (it's 1am)
That colour looks cool! I hope it went blue enough for your liking.
How many washes did the color last? 😊

I tried to die my hair but it’s to dark 😢😭😭
I would suggest you look for no sulfates fast hair growth shampoo.
My best tip is to leave it on overnight!!!
So your hair was virgin hair or no?
Yes is was never dyed, never even with semi permanent before this.
@@alissabeingme oh ok sorry I just thought I heard you say that had colored your hair before like a long time ago so that confused me lol

Hahah pretty much, yep😂
Your hair went greeny black only blue I see is on your head !!

Did the hairdye fade away?
This one did quite fast yes but I will be doing a review soon of the strawberry leopard brand. I left it in for awhile (strawberry leopard) and it’s been still very vibrant after several washes!
Ion or manic panic ?

So weird that it turned green though!
No you look like a mermaid
I don’t have a fkn blow dryer 😭
Since this video I heard the blow dry is not necessary for this kind of dye! Apparently it makes no difference. I tried a different brand (strawberry leopard) I will be reviewing soon. I left that one in over night, not sure if that’s why but it has stayed vibrant and lasted so long after several shampoos. Has not faded yet. The manic panic says on the bottle I believe you can leave it for one hour or longer.

I hope it turned out awesome!! I’m planning on doing another review of the strawberry leopard brand. It has lasted sooooo long and is really vibrant!!

Have faith in JESUS CHRIST as LORD and SAVIOR for HE SAVES from hell❗️
*What is the Gospel?*
The true gospel is the good news that God saves sinners. Man is by nature sinful and separated from God with no hope of remedying that situation. But God, by His power, provided the means of man’s redemption in the death, burial, and resurrection of the Savior, Jesus Christ.
Ephesians 2:8-9
For it is by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of GOD, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.
Romans 10:9
9 because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
JESUS CHRIST can come anytime!
