    great vid, thanks. only hang up for me is the snap ring install, not sure if i wanna have to carry around a pair of snap ring pliers in case teh flatlink has to be removed or reinstalled for wahtever reason

      Honestly it’s not a super tight snap ring so I bet it could be finagled with some creativity. I carry snap ring pliers in my trail tool bag already.

    Not sure how big a deal it is, but I noticed you have pin hole facing up. In the comments of the UltraHook video (th-cam.com/video/wADHOWvK6mY/w-d-xo.html) F55 says they made text on that one directional to promote people mounting it so opening is facing down to prevent debris from entering and help fluids drain out. 🤷🏼‍♂️
    Props to you for the reminder to focus on the adventure, not just the gear, and for the LNT reminder too.

      I might have misspoke. It is machined from a chunk of aluminum, not forged.
