I enjoyed the video. Gunner was excellent. I liked the way you worked together with the other hunters. Communication is key when approaching a covey. Good luck this Year.
Brother, I love the content and that is a great pair of dogs, but please clean your lens. I dream of a hunt like that over quality dogs. Looked like the weather was perfect.
This was not a guided hunt. These are 100% wild birds. But, understand land owners spend 100,000's dollars a year managing their ranches for game. Its very expensive, and can be all for nothing if they don't get enough rain. We were hunting a private ranch owned by a friend of one of the guys I was hunting with. I was very lucky to have been their guest. I did hunt a day lease a couple of day earlier, it was good but nothing like this. I will post a video of the day lease hunt in the next few days.
He's out of the Shambo's Dark Shadow line. He has puppies on the ground now. Im picking up one of his males in a week. He's been a hell of a bird machine.

What an amazing property! Wish more landowners worked to make their property what it should be.
Some money and a lot of hard work! Committed

Weather was about as nice as it can be in So. Texas, but it was raining just high humidity
so I didn't realize the lens was jacked
Is this a guided hunt or on game managed property? If so, could you share the contact info?
