I'm really wondering why few views and followers are there for such amazing content from an outstanding man like you Carl and your team in lunchbox. Keep it up brother and good luck.
Because if it were to get popular it would be because people are using his videos to get to sleep better and faster than you can counting sheep. I call it "nerding them to sleep".
Carl thank you very much! Very good content and quality. I’m watching from Brazil and recommending lunchbox sessions for everyone. Please keep making more videos for us! 👏👏👏
I'm here in Saudi Arabia ,I'm asst.mechanic and I want to learn hydraulic mechanic , I started to what all you videos, thanks for you greats videos I hope I become a hydraulic after I study all you video,,
im applying to amazon maintenance for Convair system , i have been trained on cars. everything here is inside of a automatic trans , this is just alot bigger . thank you for the video . this will help me pass the amazon post test . i already passed the pretest .
Right now I am watching your demonstration.I am enjoying every explanation you are doing.Very interesting and useful video. Thanks a lot sir it enlightened all my worries about hydraulic system.
I am following you sir with allthe lesson with hydraulic controls I am electronic electrician by profession in oil and gas offshore construction vessel
Hi,I got a project to improve on shorten the cycletime of my harvesting saw to reach its location. Presently the 4 valves is operated by an opertor to manauvre the boom to reach a ffb for havesting. My opinion is, if theres a cotrol system by means IoT or IA that can make the cutter to reach the fruits faster by just directingbit automatically to its location.
Hi Carl it's Ramushu here South Africa and i am interested in enrolling for a hydraulics course and i have been searching videos on hydraulics and i must say this is fantastic very interesting and this will be very helpful once i start with the lessons thanks keep it up
Amazing work! Even if knowing this valve it was a really informative package. Thanks a lot! Do you have some name or brand for those diagnostic DIN plug adapters?
pleas i want to know whether the system is closed loop or not , well it seems not because we are not monitoring the speed with speed sensor and sending data back to a controller
Really thx for the video and the explanations, very useful. I would like to ask you if all the proportional solenoid need a PWM, I mean, I think it the ramps and dead band could be programmable at the PLC, but still the need of PWM signals is required because of solenoid. I have been search for a proportional valve that does not required the PWM but a normal 0-24Volts signal.
We are facing one critical issue with on board proportional card rexroth +/- 0 to 10 V. With -ve voltage apply some time valve start working in +ve supply direction so operation got opposite. After reset valve supply same valve start to work normal. Sir, Please suggest root cause and solution.......
Hey, how would you like to collaborate on something about Hydraulic proportional valves on molding machines and how they "sense" pressure through the toggle against the mold body‽
I have a problem with my 1997 case excavator, it kills the motor when i overload the hydraulic system, like keep curling back the bucket all the way, and I cant find anybody who is good at finding out the problem.
Hi Carl, I've a question. What is the difference between gain and dead band? What if we try to set the deadband and it causes the jerky motion causing a lot of loss?
Very good information and presentation! :-) BUT way to much talk, it gives me headache. You could talk only half and still get the message through, and give the listener some own time to think between. Also good to alternate with practical stuff in between talk. The first part was way to much theory. Dont know how to set it up but you dont want your students to fell asleep. Thanks for a good video!
A servo valve is a type of high performing proportional valve. The valve that can perform well in a servo loop is one that can respond very quickly and accurately to changes to the input/drive signal.
Excellent. Can anyone tell me please what is "condition command signal" (measured by left multimeter)? I am not relevant to electronics... Thanks for sparing your valuable time.
Yes I can explain. In the video when i spoke of conditioned command (upper right monitor point, left multimeter), I meant the the external command voltage coming in to the amp card is processed first by the ramp value, the gain value, and the deadband signal, therefor the multimeter measuring the upper right monitor point (the left multimeter in the video) may not echo the value of the raw command voltage. Does that answer help?
@@CarlDykeHydraulics Thanks for your kind reply. I was thinking it's a potentiometer resistance. Thanks for correction please. Please keep us educating. Thanks.
Woooow. A new video clip after more than 2 years. Keep running!

I think I found a reason to come back soon to my subscription at LunchBox Sessions... Thanks
Im a diesel mechanic, just learning about hydraulics as im now a drill fitter. This is amazing.
Wish i could ring you for trouble shooting

Thank you, and greetings to all in Brazil. I am privileged to work with a dedicated team of artists.
Great content! Very intuitive , clearly explained.. huge knowhow..
Thanks carl and the rest of the team!

Moldova is watching you. Thanks for lessons!!!
Usefull video ! Thank you sir ! I'm a young engineer and this video lesson help me to understand basic hydraulic valves principles !
Teacher..you are the best..keep up the good videos and demos..
Also show more of actual wiring from schematics to valve..thanks
Woke up to this video after falling asleep on TH-cam. Woke up very confused bur slept well. Thanks
Really great to see you guys back!
Appreciate you taking the time and explaining hydraulic valves. Just starting out on hydraulic and trying to expand my knowledge
We’re glad you found the video helpful
thank you , Mr. Carl ! for every video that you sheared on TH-cam .
From Korea appreciating a lot.

What's the name of connector where u connect ampermeter in series ..
Really cool rig.
That's great work thanks you provide this Knowledge 🙏🙏🙏
Thank you for this video! I learned a lot 😊
Thank you tooo much that was too helpfully
Is there adevice used to test moog hydraulic servo valve ?
only 1, A or B solenoid only working in particular movement,Sir? current or volt mode??
Very great explanation, thank you so much.

Sir can you explain yuken proportional valve directional and flow control
Model (ELDFG)
Very very nise good working

Can you please do a video of Pr 2224 valve controller
Very informative
we can use this amplifire card for all type proportional valve?
why pilot operated proportional directional control valve has no electrical feedback ?
Hey, how would you like to collaborate on something about Hydraulic proportional valves on molding machines and how they "sense" pressure through the toggle against the mold body‽
in my opinion, less electronics means more reliable and simple system.
