Sadly my experience was completely the opposite when it comes to dining in the lounge, hardly any available food , probably got something to do with the time coz it was late. And in the plane, I got the toughest steak.. I guess I was just unlucky.. but the stewards are very friendly 😊..I travelled business class.

dining is top-notch, IFE is decent, old 777 J seats in 2-3-2 wouldn't even be that bad if not for the dreaded middle seat (a' la EK old J class). I tried both the 777 and B787 J class on TK when going back home in Italy from Taiwan for Christmas 2024. The 777 is ideal if flying with partners (the seats on the window sides), the B787 seats are not shabby at all, but yeah, quite narrow and not ideal for people taller than 184cm, very constrained feet wise. Still, I would take them again and again for service, catering and also transit experience. a huge plus: the have an actual business class seat even for intra-european flights! So not the best, but up there. Hope they will update the 777 J seats with something more private and spacious.

Took TK this summer IST-DPS and back. Had high expectations. Fully disappointed. Seats are way too narrow especially at shoulder area. Bed is also very short. Food was mediocre and confused. Dinner at 2:30am, breakfast at 7:30pm. Why? No flexibility offered about when meals are served, I thought that’s their big selling point. Nothing good to report, to me TK is way overhyped.
tbh,TK always has a problem of racism.they treat you differently depending on your race…. they need to redesign their few business classes which doesn’t fit to Business level and get back the premium economy!

In my opinion, the older Business Class seats on Turkish Airlines are more appealing. They have amazing legroom and seem so open and airy.
Yea the new ones r very restrictive. It’s more private for sure but not very comfortable for long haul flights
Sorry to say Istanbul to colombo route has older business class seats and not comfortable at all for 8 hour journey.
