Sounds insane! 213kw/285hp & 503nm though unfortunately the car is losing power on the dyno due to heatsoak. Also got detuned after this video due to reliability concerns.
@samsonmakaveli007 Intercooler is what helps with heatsoak, the bigger it is the better. Cold air intakes dont actually take in cold air anyway unless the intake runs from the front of the car like the Racingline one.
Can the engine even handle that kind of power? Like 200kW? What is the torque limit for the gearbox? At what point is it recommended to forget the engine?
@acousticsoundguy9133 It depends. In this case the owner rebuilt the motor so that was a big part of the cost but including the turbo, exhaust, intake, elbow and dv valve spring upgrade. You're looking at around R70k but if you were just upgrading your turbo and exhaust probably in the range of R20k to R30k min. But I would recommend an intercooler and water meth injection as well because the car suffers from heatsoak and loses power after a few hard pulls. R10k for water meth and R15k minimum for an intercooler.
Cool. When we say rebuild the motor does that mean internals are replaced with stronger parts? Which parts exactly? And are stronger parts forged parts? Thanks for any info here.
To be honest fuel economy can be decent but when you really drive it like its meant to be driven you can go through a full tank very fast! Best case 400km off a full tank, worst case 250kms off a tank. Tank is about 40l. Service and maintenance wise I haven't had to pay a cent because my car is under warranty and maintenance plan. But imagine if you are buying used the costs should be high like any German car. Best to get an aftermarket warranty atleast and a low mileage car. But generally these cars have proven to be very reliable thus far. Just don't buy a car that has been modified.
This exhaust system is 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 on a polo gti
No doubt! Sounds even more insane in person
Rally car vibes with this setup to be honest😅. Gen3b🙌🔥
True! Haha😅 it's a beast.
I know I'm late but who did this and what costs did you incur to get this, I got a polo gti and I want it to be like this XDD
How did yall get the farts so loud? Tune? Mine has straight pipe and it doesn’t fart like that
he’s running down pipe + straight pipe
Polo sounds naaarce. What kind of power is he making with that setup

@@carcrazyguysa4059would a cold air intake perhaps help with the heat soak issue? Or a intercooler

What tuning company worked on the car?
How much HP make the White Polo?
BTW: Nice Video.
Thanks 😁👍🏼
285hp & 503nm
& how much would it cost for the whole package

Hey bro, I'm thinking about buying polo gti and I wanted to ask how's the fuel efficiency and service cost?

@@carcrazyguysa4059 thanks for the advice it's, really gonna help alot 🙏appreciate it
@@Crunchcup28 Always happy to help ✌️
If your buying this car for fuel efficiency ur getting the wrong car I fill up my car twice a week if u want a good car on fuel Rline is the way bro
If you like it, buy it bro. Everything else is for the birds.
how do you get the middle kws reader to go above 147kws?
Im guessing its because his car actually makes more power but probably done by the tuner in the software code.
It's tuned in with DVL 😊
What other mods does it have?
Other than the turbo and rebuilt motor the car also has a dog bone mount to help with wheel hop, turbo elbow upgrade and DV valve spring upgrade.
where are you from ?
Cape Town, South Africa
@@carcrazyguysa4059 aha thanks
dq200 or it was swaped to dsg dq250?
