Hello mam, I am the first comment, I already sent you an email before a week ago but not answered, kindly please answer this question or make a video: I’m a foreign graduate 4 years of pharmacy school in Ethiopia in 2010 & then I migrated to Europe. I’ve not worked as a pharmacist the last ten years and I want to come in USA as a tourist in order to pass the PTBC exam. Please someone like me, is it allowed to take the exam? If I pass the exam, can I change my tourist visa into a work visa in order to work there? What are the conditions for a foreigner having such situation like me please. I thank you 🙏🏽 ❤
I can only give advice on what I know. I’m not familiar with policies and procedures for someone in your situation. Hopefully soon you will find the answer to your question.
hi, sorry it does not work that way. the website for PTCB says the 1st requirement is: Reside in the United States of America or its territories (US).. also a tourist Visa will not permit you to work in the USA. You need to apply to for a work visa to work in the usa.. good luck okay

@@robinson2589 I know as a tourist I can’t work there but I would have liked to pass the PTBC exam and if I pass I wanna change my tourist visa into a work visa. But my question was can I take the PTCB exam as a tourist person. I Thank you both if you.
@@jamalhajimohed9361 no you can’t take the test as a tourist because you have to reside in the US. So you would need a state i.d. Card… a tourist doesn’t live in America. And also no, you cant switch a tourist visa, at least thats not what the website seemed to describe
Hi Monique , my question is , can I make an application for take the ptcb examfor pharmacy technician without take training or class?
So far the most cost effective way I’m familiar with is getting on the job training and having your pharmacy employer assist with the certification process. I will do a video on this specifically. Thank you for commenting.
