Hi, I'm in a situation where my cast is making my thumb numb/senseless. I can move it aorund but have almost no feeling when I touch it. Also the center of my palm/end of my thumb is kind of aching/hurting. Do you have any advice? (It's on my right hand btw, and I'm right handed normally). My doctor says nothing, but I know it's because the cast is irritating my vains. Do you know what to do? (I'm on my 6th day with cast, and already been through 3 due to irritation. - They told me 4 weeks of this). Sincerly, Kaya
Move fingers even when taped? Like wiggle them? Like day 2 after first injury? Yes, a family member has this, and unfortunately a shorter finger now after 6 weeks of healing. Is there anyway to fix the short finger? And he says he feels a bump when he grabs things, like a bar or steering wheel, a bump on the underside. How long till he doesnt have pain there? Sorry for all the questions
hello sir, I have fracture in my right hand and it near little finger knuckle. doctor just use strapping for 6 week because in the X ray my bone was straight. after remove strapping, my little finger still have Rotational Deformity? Do I need a surgery to heal this problem?
Hello sir, i met a small accident and 5th metacarpal was fractured, and it's just in position, doctor said, no need for k-wire , just split is enough for 6weeks. 2weeks back split is removed, now 2months completed, but fracture line still visible, how long it will take to go off crack line on x-ray, and I'm afraid of do physiotherapy, because when I'm doing physiotherapy some pain on fracture site. Give me some suggestions, please, thanks in advance....
