An oscillating tool has it's uses, while it might not be practical to use an oscillating tool to make dozens or hundreds of cuts with Fiber Cement or Hardie Siding, it definitely does come in handy when you need to cut a hole for an electrical box, vent, piping, wiring, etc. where as a regular saw won't.
A regular saw can be very dangerous to use when doing smaller and more precise cuts, we do not recommend doing that, instead for a smaller cut as seen in the video, that's where an oscillating tool will be needed.

Multitool will cut hardie but is the worst tool you could possible use because it creates extremely fine silica dust 😂 I’m sure that blade would cut asbestos siding well too with this method lol
The worst? A grinder or electric saw will create less dust?
You should also be demonstrating proper safety protocols in your videos . Hardiplank dust is very hazardous to your health and causes lung cancer. Anybody cutting HardiePlank or any other cement-based siding should wear a respirator. And where are your safety glasses?

I'm sorry but I can't take anyone serious who uses Ryobi 😂😂😂 get a DeWalt or Milwaukee 🤦♂️
