Thank you for your reaction!!! Louis is a great songwriter who pays great attention to lyrics. He writes his own songs and it’s almost always like this; honest, authentic, relatable! Other than how great of a songwriter he is and how beautiful and unique his voice is, he’s actually such a lovely guy! Very down-to-earth, cares about making the music HE wants to make, not the music that would get him on top of the charts. He’s very real. Just the greatest, most caring and loving person ever. Really underrated, though. He’s a gem.
Louis was the loudest, most out going while in the band. The 5th member is Liam. Liam hasn’t done a lot since 1D. He hasn’t found his sound really. Liam and Louis wrote a lot of the 1D songs.
If you like lyrics, Louis is the guy for you yes!! I'm so excited for his new album and I think you will too. He has finally found what he wanted to do all along, although his songs have always been so great. Louis is my favorite together with Harry. On stage, he didn’t seem to have as much confidence in 1D. But off stage, pretty much all the band members said he was the leader. I know you don’t really do interview reaction but I think you’d like him. He’s mouthy, very ornery and blunt but not mean spirited though he can take down a rude interviewer if necessary 😂 This is the first song off his second album which comes out in November. And he said this album represents his sound more than the first where he felt he played it too safe. But I still love the first album. Kill My Mind is his favorite off the last. Walls or Only the Brave are probably mine. Miss You and Copy of a Copy of a Copy are 2 that are non album tracks that I love.

Louis is my favorite!! It’s impossible to not like this human being. I first learned who Louis was when he was a Judge on x- factor it was just over a year ago I found out he had been in a band called one direction lol! I have to say though that after viewing almost 1000 hours of One direction videos and then each member’s solo journey I’m probably a bigger fan of the fans and the incredible things the fans have done worldwide for those boys from the very beginning and still to this day with each one individually Especially Louis fans
I can assure you that in a lot of the sense Louis was the "loudest member of 1d" in a very literal sense as well he did the most behind the scenes both Niall and Liam have said that in they would've lost direction without Louis. He was the funny guy and the crazy one of the group he took so much control if it weren't for him their lyrics and sound would've stayed sounding very basic if you hear a 1d song that sounds a bit more pop punk assume its Louis's doing. He held them when they were crumbling in the general publics eyes very underrated guy but the most humble and geunine in my opinion. He has the best fan interactions and is the best with them.

I knew you would like this song and Louis. He was the last member of the band to release an album. Louis was underrated compared to others, but he eventually realized that he has a place in music. He has a lot of fans. Other songs that I think you will like in this style are: We made it, Walls, Copy of a copy of a copy and don't miss "Two of us". I can't even tell you how happy I am that you chose this song. It´s a banger! Louis has always been the least appreciated member of One Direction. He even once said that each of them is special in some way and then there is him. Even though he wrote most of the songs, he wasn't seen or heard that much, people said he couldn't sing. Sadly. He was known to joke around and beying sassy king during interviews ( in a good way). And look at him now! He has a sold out world tour and his songs are amazing. He has several like this one, for example Kill my mind is great, same energy. Today he is confident and successful as he deserved. And he is still the humble, funny and honest boy from Doncaster.

Btw the fifth member is Liam Payne. He was a daddy of the group. Also a great singer and the one with whom Louis wrote the most songs. They are still best friends to this day.

I appreciate your appreciation of Louis. I love his beautiful unique voice and Doncaster accent, but his character and humanity are what really drive his strong and gorgeous lyrics home. Faith in the Future is out November 11th, but in the meantime you might want to listen to Copy of a Copy of a Copy, Walls, Kill My Mind, and Two of Us among others. His lyrics are always worth listening to; even in 1D he was writing some great lines, but now that he’s older and writing his own truth they’re just next level.
I highly recommend you react to Two Of Us by Louis Tomlinson. I think you'll like it a lot.

I see a lot of people disagreeing with me on the "rock" thing... I realize that some of Harry (and sometimes Niall)'s songs are louder and heavier than Louis' but you're absolutely more likely to hear Louis on a rock station based on song structure and style alone. I think my nonsense will make more sense when you see some live footage.

i love this reaction! all of louis’ lyrics are pretty relatable and he’s very vulnerable and honest with his song writing. really glad y’all reacted to him!
also, i guess when describing how they were in 1D, louis was the one with the more unique sounding voice (and least “pop” sounding voice if that make sense, id say his voice would fit a punk rock song really well). in the group and wrote the most songs for them and now also writes his own music. i like him as a solo artist better though since now he can make whatever music he wants (which he’s into indie rock and punk. also anthemic sounding songs like this).
also, i’d say niall or harry are the most rock oriented. louis definitely found his lane in indie rock though.
So proud of Louis. He was not as confident in 1D and it took him a couple years to figure out what he wanted his sound to be. His first album is pretty good. He is a good lyricist (he wrote a lot of 1d's music with the boys). He was just on tour all over the world and did amazing. He's had a lot of really hard things happen in his life. Comes from a really big family, his mother died young and later one of his sisters. He's such a good guy, so compassionate and caring, down to earth, does a lot of charity work (he and his mother used to do that a lot when she was alive too) And he's really sassy lol. I'm excited to hear his 2nd album that's coming out soon.

I love this song and I love Louis. Always loved him in the band (1D) but he never got those real solo parts there so it really is such a joy to see how he has grown as a solo artist. He never planned on going solo after 1D btw, he thought he would maybe write for other people but his mum convinced him to give it a try. He had a bit of a struggle to find what and who he was as a solo artist. He was always the kind of "rock" influenced guy in 1D, so I think he surprised us all when his first solo song Just Hold On was EMD, a collab with Steve Aoki. Even if you don't like that kind of music it has his lyrics. And typical of Louis's lyrics, at least to me, is that they are simple and very relatable. I can find so many life lessons listening to Louis. So after a couple of singles in 2017 (Back to you with Bebe Rexha and Miss you) he took some time to get the sound he wanted and released the album Walls in 2020. Lots of guitars and actually a very acoustic feel to that album. My top 2 songs of the album are Two of us (sad) and the song Walls. Kill my mind is a great single too ofc. With the second album coming out it feels like he's more sure of himself and what he wants. I can't wait to get his new album. Bigger Than Me is a great first single IMO.
I think the most important thing to him is that his music is authentic to him first and foremost, he won't be writing songs to fit the radio deliberately. He did that with 1D so he's already experienced that part "of global success". He don't have a need for that now.
When his tour got canceled in 2020 he put up an amazing live stream in lock down in London. If you ever want to check him out live that would be the concert I'd recommend to really hear him sing. It's just him and his awesome live band. He did his whole album Walls as well as some covers and 1D songs. He also did his first solo song Just Hold On but now in a more rockier version to fit with the rest of the songs. The live sound differs a little to the studio album overall of course. He's an indie guy at heart. He loves to promote other, perhaps not so known bands, to his followers and that's also how he has shaped his own festival too, Away From Home Festival, a festival all curated by him that he first put up 2021 to celebrate lock down was finally over and live music was back. It was streamed globally the day after and it came with a mini documentary that I'd recommend to anyone wanting to see what kind of artist Louis is. He put up the festival in Spain this year with even more bands and he hopes to be able expand it to a 2-3 day festival.

You guys should really need to react to Louis' 1st album Walls. He is so good at writing lyrics. Out of all the 1D members his music is the one I love when it comes to lyrics. Also the last two albums are mostly written by Louis and Liam but Liam said that Louis is the Lyric guy and it shows with his own music now. I hope you can listen to his other songs, he was never the main guy of 1D but he definitely captures the hearts of so many fans. I could go on and on writing all the great things about him and this comment section wouldn't be enough 😁 Louis is an emotionally strong and positive person despite what he has been through in life. He is very inspiring.

Since you're a lyric guy, Louis is the one cuz he is a brilliant songwriter, one of the bests in the industry, writes all his songs and yeah wrote most of 1d's songs. Louis wasn't given the recognition he deserved in 1d though he was the one working behind the scenes, writing songs and his voice is very unique and he made 1d sound like 1d. He changed the band's sound from bubblegum pop to pop rock (otherwise we would've gotten 5 up all nights).
I'm so happy that he's a solo artist now because he's doing so much better and killing it on his own. He has his own fandom and we're called Louie. His second album Faith in the future will be released on 11 Nov 2022 'til then you can check out his debut album Walls (an absolute masterpiece) and other songs like copy of a copy of a copy and change, etc.

His first album was more of a transition album I think, sort of toeing the line between what he was doing before and where he wants to go. I'm excited for the second album because now he can more fully do what he wants and go more towards that sort of britpop/indie rock sound.

Ok I'm a directioner and I like all 5 members and their music. But for me personally, I lean more into Louis's music because I feel that I relate more. I highly recommend for you guys to react to his album Walls, and other songs that aren't on the album which are: Copy of a copy of a copy, changes.... and yes, Louis got the least solos in one direction so that's what makes me so proud of him that he found his sound own sound and I can listen to his voice more longer. He has Experienced the most amount of Tragedy After One Direction. His Mother Died In 2016 (Check Out TWO OF US, It's Written for His Mother) , His Sister Died soon in 2019. So His Lyrics Are Very Deep and Talks Mostly About His Life Experiences.

I only went back and listened to One Direction's music because I realized I liked Louis' solo music (when One Direction were popular I was definitely "too cool" to listen to them). It's cool to see what they've all done separately/ seeing their individual influences come out. I personally like Louis' stuff the most between his vocal tone and influences. His band are sick as well, lots of extra instrumental breaks when I saw him live. The artists he listens to are great and I've found a lot of new music through him as he's always recommending different indie/rock stuff. (including Sam Fender, who you guys did a reaction to a few months ago, and I recently saw live-- he was fantastic)

Lol, that corprorate got person is wrong, their 5th album was written during the short few months of a break they all took after touring 4th album and it was written separately by the members and recorded in a more adequate type of studio. But before that - yeah, only first album was properly studio recorded, everything else was done on the road because they release album after album with worl tour after world tour.
All guys of 1D are super talented)) This is a good song and as much as I wanna say it's kinda more commercial and he's got more interesting stuff I can't be too judgy, because it's a ckeverly made GOOD song. Louis reminds me all britpop-indie rock bands I listened when I was right after my teens so his sound is very nostalgic but also quite fresh production wise.
Harry and Niall are easily my two favourite artists, both in the band and solo but Louis is a very close third. Liam and Zayn are not my cup of tea at all although I appreciate Zayn's vision on his own music, it's got a concept unlike Liam's.

If you want to listen to the ex 1D member who is described as the best vocalist of his generation and the the most versatile in terms of genre of music as he can straddle rnb, rock, pop, reggae, dance Hall soul you need to listen to Zayn Malik. His is hands down one of the best vocalists out there.
He gave 1D ethnic diversity as the only brown member hence he's a global icon.
He has anxiety hence why he's never toured or performed live in 6 years and hardy promotes his music yet is second only to Harry in terms of record sales and streams.
I suggest you listen to his smash hit Dusk Till Dawn which has 1.3 Billion spotify streams and 1.9 Billion youtube views.
You can also listen to Sour Disel, Pillowtalk, and Flames. They are great examples of the diverse genre's he can straddle.

I like Louis much more than Harry? My personal 1d list is Lou, Niall, Harry, Zayn and Liam are equal.
Niall is more singer/songwriter. The first three do good musical craft with real bands and real instruments. For me, the first three are definitely the most musical 1D members. Zayn and Lism have very good voices, but for me, unlike the others, they are interchangeable.
