So, this is my first time listening to Louis, but I watch all of your reactions religiously… and WOW. I’m so invested already??? Going to have to give this album a listen, thank you!!!
it’s probably not the correct meaning, but MY interpretation of Angels Fly was him comforting someone after they lost a loved one. I recently lost my grandmother who i was extremely close with and i could relate most of the lyrics back to her; nothing matters, nothing hurts, you just feel numb after a while. and then in the chorus he’s saying you’ll be okay we can talk tomorrow, it’s like saying “i know that talking about them is just gonna make it worse right now, so tomorrow we can talk and today i’ll just be here for you while you need me”. and then of course it explains the angels fly lyric
I also love the lyrics in Holding on to Heartache where he says he called twice and changed his number. It’s so vulnerable and relatable. When you just can’t hold back from texting that person that’s on your mind but then you feel so insecure and small giving in to letting them know you can’t forget them.
That's really me .....really hated that clingy image so I'd do something drastic like change my number .....and push to scrub his no out of my brain cos like it's branded. Shit.
I totally agree, harry’s house has its moments like Matilda, Little Freak, Cinema, Daydreaming, and Keep Driving but it doesn’t keep me as engaged as this album. Wasn’t the biggest fan of Midnights other than Lavender Haze & Anti Hero. This album was a great and needed suprise, so many good songs like Saturdays, Chicago, Lucky Again, Out Of My System, Common People, Written All Over Your Face, shit the whole album is good.
I mean- lyrics by Taylor can’t be overpassed, however I think Faith in the Future is a better album in the rest of the aspects(excepting marketing, Tay and Harry’s teams are at another lever), but the lyrics can’t beat THE Taylor Swift’s.
To me, Lucky Again is one of his best in terms of getting to my heart. I cry every time I hear it and I am so hopeful at the end. I don’t know how he does it 🥰
Louis Tomlinson has been one of the most important people in my life since I was 6 years old and I'm hoping and praying I can get accessible tickets for a UK show
I also love all this time his vocals are pure Angel voice, prefect, comforting just a warm hug, head kiss, hot tea, soft pillow, cold sheets, chocolate everything
This is one of my fav albums this year! Louis is amazing🥰 To me, Angels Fly is about when someone goes to comfort someone who just suffered a loss. Also, Holding On To Heartache is one of my favs and when he says "You should be starin' at the sky The birds just passin' by, love", I think he could be talking about his sister. Maybe, I'm wrong but since I suffered a loss recently, it makes sense to me to think that this is the meaning of these songs. Love watching your reactions to my fav singers🤗 I'm so excited to see him live, I know I'll be crying a lot hahaha when he says Hey Babe, we'll all be out of our minds hahahah
Miss you (2017): they say “lad give it time there’s no need to worry” That’s the way love goes (2022): remember when you told me I should give it time? Well, here’s your chance to take your own advice
I love your reaction to this album. It made me so emotional. I felt so understood. Thank You 🥺. I love this album so much. I’m so proud of Louis. And I’m gonna see him next year for the first time in Germany ahh. Like what I’m gonna hear this album live ? Ahh. Thank You Caitlin for making me feel safe 💗
My personal interpretation of All this time (as a closeted person): It's late now I'm tryna find the words to say for ages (struggling acceptance) Just have patience It's not how you spend the time, it's if you waste it (the internal process isnt a waste of time, but only if you let it take hold of you) [Pre-Chorus] And I keep on building mountains hoping that they'll turn to gold (forming this persona/ facade in life to be accepted) But the truth is, I still doubt that what I do can get me home (sometimes its great because people around u seem to accept you but when they dont, it throws you off and youre back to square one) When it gets cold Oh, sometimes, sometimes, I lose my hope [Verse 2] Our eyes meet And I can tell that you're the same as me (self explanatory) It's the way we It's the way we see ourselves through walls of trees (google meaning of wall tree, its a fruit tree thats been trained to prop straight against a wall) And you keep on building mountains hoping that they'll turn to gold But the truth is, you still doubt that what you do can get you home (addressing the listener now, after the line saying “youre like me” queer, closeted/ pretending) [Chorus] When it gets cold Oh, sometimes, sometimes, you lose your hope But the friends we make, the love it takes (the circle of people you let in) It's worth, it's worth, it's worth the pain The friends we make, the love it takes It's worth, it's worth, it's worth it all this time [Outro] All this time All this time It's worth it all this time
i think you would LOVE Hozier. His music has really deep and intimate stories and his instrumentals are always so beautiful! His first album is my favorite but his second album is also extremely good too!
Honestly this album is a beautiful powerful incredible masterpiece that deserves all the praise and awards I’m so incredibly proud of Louis and so glad I can be lucky enough to call myself a fan of him I’m so incredibly grateful for everything Louis has done and continues to do for us these songs will hit even harder live ❤️❤️🖤🖤💙💙🥺🥺 common people has a special place in my heart but I love them all so much ahhh I hope u get tickets ya I have tickets to see Louis next year hopefully with my friends hopefully
6:26 Oh my God I seen this video and I completely forgot to comment this but I’m in that bigger than me reaction. It’s really cool how I see you in it too
i’m very late to this reaction but i personally cannot listen to saturdays and holding onto heartache without thinking about louis’ time in the band and especially the fact that he has admitted that he wasn’t ready to leave as he was just finding his footing as a performer, singer and songwriter! they’re two very different perspectives on the same time in his life! one (saturdays) is about the feeling of being in the band and not wanting it to end whereas the other (holding onto heartache) is about the moment where he realised that he needed to get out of the ‘i wasn’t ready to leave, i can’t do this on my own’ mindset and sort of bitterness towards how it ended not on his terms and needed to do things in his terms and go for what he wanted to achieve as a solo artist! those are my interpretations anyway and if you give both songs another listen with these thoughts in mind, they hit very hard in a completely different way i think!
Faith In The Future for me is better than midnights though taylor is the lyrical genuis mastermind and bridge queen and yes i am a swiftie too dont worry but something about faith in the future to me seems more realatble and though taylor has realatble songs too but Louis really has a unquie but comforting way that he dose it and I just love Faith in the future
I didn’t like Walls all that much. However, over time, every time I hear one of the songs off the Walls album (as Spotify feeds me Niall, Harry, Louis, and 1D if I let it run on), I realise how much I like it. I need to go back and listen to the album as a whole. It might be that (not liking the order) versus each song individually. I immediately fell in love with Faith in the Future. One of the best albums in a long while.
Please consider reacting to Preacher's Daughter by Ethel Cain. You're probably gonna love it, it will make you cry and a bit scared too, it's such an amazing album 💕💓💖
Faith in the Future is so amazing. I’m so proud of Louis’s work on this album. Every song off this album is an absolutely masterpiece. Some of them are so beautiful and well- put, and some are upbeat and fun to vibe to. I hope you enjoyed this album as much as Walls! Keep up the great work! 😁
louis literally saved my life with walls. i adore him. and when i first listened to faith in the future i was just like "this is so him!" and i love it sm
I interpreted Angels Fly as a convo with his sisters after they've made a mistake where he's telling them it'll be okay and he's there for them and they'll figure it out later. I think the angels could also be referencing the people they've lost (his mom, one of his sisters) being there for them too.
This album is so powerful.. I'm in England and FITF has entered the UK album chart straight in at #1 Lou deserves this so much! Love your reactions. ❤❤
I absolutely love this album and I have such a hard time picking a favorite song because they're just all so so good. That's the way love goes, Holding on to Heartache, Common People, Angels Fly and Saturdays definitely are some of my favorites but I genuinely love every song so much. No skips on this album
All This Time is maybe my favorite of the album (tho it’s impossible to really pick). His voice in the chorus is so beautiful and I love the lyrics. I watched and read My Policeman a week before listening to Faith In The Future for the first time and I really see some similarities between that story and All This Time. Not details-wise, but both engage with the idea of wasted time, or the supposed wasting of time, and in All This Time Louis sings about how it’s worth it, all this time. We can lose hope and doubt our path but “the love it takes it’s worth all this time.” Just hit home for me.
I'm a new Louis fan and his music is just so incredible. His voice is great. Lyrics are awesome and his soul really comes out through his voice. One of the best musicians ever!
So, this is my first time listening to Louis, but I watch all of your reactions religiously… and WOW. I’m so invested already??? Going to have to give this album a listen, thank you!!!
Omg, have we recruited a new Louie???
Yay, I love seeing people turn into Louies. You should definitely listen to walls as well!
Possibly welcome to the fandom
if u want tell us what you think of it❤️😄
hope you enjoy!!!
it’s probably not the correct meaning, but MY interpretation of Angels Fly was him comforting someone after they lost a loved one. i love that interpretation ♥️
OMG that was also my interpretation!!! So glad someone thought the same thing, it means I'm not making stuff up lol
also, sending you a big hug!!! x
Ok, that's it!!! Alrdy one of my favs 2022 and now you explained it this way ❤️❤️❤️❤️ 😭😭😭😭
i think anyone whos lost someone will interpret it that way cause same for me
Louis is genius lyricist, and an angelic voice.
I also love the lyrics in Holding on to Heartache where he says he called twice and changed his number. It’s so vulnerable and relatable. When you just can’t hold back from texting that person that’s on your mind but then you feel so insecure and small giving in to letting them know you can’t forget them.

Shit.
"The Greatest" could be the anthem for Louis and his Louies' relationship. A good opener for a live concert for sure.
this album and the entire experience feels UNREAL
im sorry but this album personally for me has surpassed harry's house and midnights in terms of production and lyrics 😭
Couldn’t agree more 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
I mean- lyrics by Taylor can’t be overpassed, however I think Faith in the Future is a better album in the rest of the aspects(excepting marketing, Tay and Harry’s teams are at another lever), but the lyrics can’t beat THE Taylor Swift’s.
yessssss
Lyrics better than midnights? Be serious 💀
When Caitlin posts a video about Louis, you know it’s going to be an emotional and gorgeous video
To me, Lucky Again is one of his best in terms of getting to my heart. I cry every time I hear it and I am so hopeful at the end. I don’t know how he does it 🥰
Caitlin: "I feel so calm and relaxed"
Also Caitlin: can't sit still and freaks out every 10 seconds
Love you 😂❤️
I have a shitty day right now, so this is so perfect. I love your reaction and your interpriations of the lyrics, and this album is amazing!
aw i hope things get better!! ♥️♥️♥️
@@caitlinmariereacts you already made it better❤️
Louis Tomlinson has been one of the most important people in my life since I was 6 years old and I'm hoping and praying I can get accessible tickets for a UK show

THANK YOU FOR THE SUPPORT LOUIS REALLY HAVE A FAITH IN THIS ALBUM
bro headline is soo good.. cant believe you didnt like that one
this is the BEST BEST BEEEST REACTION I'VE SEEN FOR THIS ALBUM
louis is so adorable i can't handle it, and then his music is so good and i can't handle that either? and it's just too much for me
I loce how cathartic so many of the songs are. Like saturdays and silver tongues build like that. But all the rest kinda have that too
I AM SO SO SO SO OBSESSED WITH THIS ALBUM LIKE INSANELY OBSESSED with faith in the future
My new hobby is watch people reacting to "hey baby". It never gets old.
14:16-14:31 I felt the same way!! It’s so sad, but his voice is so beautiful that I’m ok with the pain of listening to it 🥺🥺💜💜
Miss you (2017): they say “lad give it time there’s no need to worry”
That’s the way love goes (2022): remember when you told me I should give it time? Well, here’s your chance to take your own advice
I love your reaction to this album. It made me so emotional. I felt so understood. Thank You 🥺. I love this album so much. I’m so proud of Louis. My personal interpretation of All this time (as a closeted person):
It's late now
I'm tryna find the words to say for ages (struggling acceptance)
Just have patience
It's not how you spend the time, it's if you waste it (the internal process isnt a waste of time, but only if you let it take hold of you)
[Pre-Chorus]
And I keep on building mountains hoping that they'll turn to gold (forming this persona/ facade in life to be accepted)
But the truth is, I still doubt that what I do can get me home (sometimes its great because people around u seem to accept you but when they dont, it throws you off and youre back to square one)
When it gets cold
Oh, sometimes, sometimes, I lose my hope
[Verse 2]
Our eyes meet
And I can tell that you're the same as me (self explanatory)
It's the way we
It's the way we see ourselves through walls of trees (google meaning of wall tree, its a fruit tree thats been trained to prop straight against a wall)
And you keep on building mountains hoping that they'll turn to gold
But the truth is, you still doubt that what you do can get you home (addressing the listener now, after the line saying “youre like me” queer, closeted/ pretending)
[Chorus]
When it gets cold
Oh, sometimes, sometimes, you lose your hope
But the friends we make, the love it takes (the circle of people you let in)
It's worth, it's worth, it's worth the pain
The friends we make, the love it takes
It's worth, it's worth, it's worth it all this time
[Outro]
All this time
All this time
It's worth it all this time
This is exactly how i view the song too! It’s my favorite and can feel it on a personal level❤
Thanks for the walls of trees meaning i didn’t know that btw!
that's the way love goes is 1. SO UNDERRATED AND NOT TALKED ABOUT ENOUGH and 2. is the song i SOBBED to at 2am
i think you would LOVE Hozier. His music has really deep and intimate stories and his instrumentals are always so beautiful! His first album is my favorite but his second album is also extremely good too!
I absolutely love this album! It's truly a masterpiece! The songwriting on it is some of the best! There is not a single skip on the album!
I went for his concert yesterday and oh my god IT WAS SO GOOD
Clicked so fast when I saw this. You are one of my fave reaction channels, and I love Louis' music so much. This vid makes me so happy 😁
Louis is such an inspiration to me and this i really love
To me All This Time does feel like objectively the best song so I'm glad you loved it. My other favorite is Lucky Again.
You mentioning little mix in a louis video is the reason for my tears lmao I miss my girls
My biggest flex is that i got to see him live!

My favorites on the album are angels fly, All this time and holding on to heartache
I looove youuu😂😩😩😩
i was waiting for ur reaction soo bad!! i love it and i love you
i’m very late to this reaction but i personally cannot listen to saturdays and holding onto heartache without thinking about louis’ time in the band and especially the fact that he has admitted that he wasn’t ready to leave as he was just finding his footing as a performer, singer and songwriter!
they’re two very different perspectives on the same time in his life! one (saturdays) is about the feeling of being in the band and not wanting it to end whereas the other (holding onto heartache) is about the moment where he realised that he needed to get out of the ‘i wasn’t ready to leave, i can’t do this on my own’ mindset and sort of bitterness towards how it ended not on his terms and needed to do things in his terms and go for what he wanted to achieve as a solo artist!
those are my interpretations anyway and if you give both songs another listen with these thoughts in mind, they hit very hard in a completely different way i think!
24:52 i died lol
Same. I love it
1. Midnight's
2. Faith in the future
3. Harry's house
ageee
It makes me laugh when she says that she has never seen that guy in her life and on the other side she has the 5sos poster😂
LOVE YOU GIRLIE
Faith In The Future for me is better than midnights though taylor is the lyrical genuis mastermind and bridge queen and yes i am a swiftie too dont worry but something about faith in the future to me seems more realatble and though taylor has realatble songs too but Louis really has a unquie but comforting way that he dose it and I just love Faith in the future
Me too wait so long
I am paying any amount of money to see this, if you were at my local venue I would invite you instead of my friends lol
First AND I LOVE UUUU!❤❤
I didn’t like Walls all that much. However, over time, every time I hear one of the songs off the Walls album (as Spotify feeds me Niall, Harry, Louis, and 1D if I let it run on), I realise how much I like it. I need to go back and listen to the album as a whole. It might be that (not liking the order) versus each song individually.
I immediately fell in love with Faith in the Future. One of the best albums in a long while.
3:14 so real
TH-cam auto play loves 5sos confirmed
Caitlin i need ur CAS (Cigarette after s**) reaction!!!😭😭😭
Finally 🎉
Please consider reacting to Preacher's Daughter by Ethel Cain. You're probably gonna love it, it will make you cry and a bit scared too, it's such an amazing album 💕💓💖
1:07 he said what? 😂
Day one of asking you to listen to
“worm food” by cavetown
Everyone’s reaction to “Written All Over Your Face” is just such a treat ahhahaha. Someone needs to edit a compilation of the reactions!!
the way louis sang “when it gets cold” gave me chills, it was the best feeling
you get me
Same! Also heartache
Yess but for me the „I lose my hope“ gives me the most goosebumps
Every time he says "cold" on this album is insane
Faith in the Future is so amazing. I’m so proud of Louis’s work on this album. Every song off this album is an absolutely masterpiece. Some of them are so beautiful and well- put, and some are upbeat and fun to vibe to. I hope you enjoyed this album as much as Walls! Keep up the great work! 😁
With Louis and his music I have this feeling I could do everything I ever wanted in my life and make my dreams come true. So inspiring💖
this this this
Love this album so much - every song is so good 💙 Especially loving All This Time, Heartache (the BRIDGE), Chicago
louis literally saved my life with walls. i adore him. and when i first listened to faith in the future i was just like "this is so him!" and i love it sm
I interpreted Angels Fly as a convo with his sisters after they've made a mistake where he's telling them it'll be okay and he's there for them and they'll figure it out later. I think the angels could also be referencing the people they've lost (his mom, one of his sisters) being there for them too.
oh wow this is a great interpretation
The fact that I follow you on Spotify and Im a quiet observer of your obsession HAHAHAHAHA
shhhhhh don't tell them
This album is so powerful.. I'm in England and FITF has entered the UK album chart straight in at #1
Lou deserves this so much!
No skips on this album
chicago and silver tongues for me for sure
Lucky Again, All This Time, Headline, Silver Tongues and Written All Over Your Face are in my TOP 5, but honestly the whole álbum Is my favorite!!!!
I'm still cannot choose yet 🤣
As a harry and taylor fan, i didnt expect that id like his album more than theirs, because i prefered theirs to walls. but fitf is just perfect
We got so many f*king good albums this year
Midnights
Harry's house
5SOS5
Emails I can't send
Rae
And now Faith in the future!!!

Your reaction to Written All Over Your Face is SO DAMN RELATABLE OFBODAJBVOJVAO I FELT THE VERY SAME THING PLS !!!!!
"Always associated walls with green"
💚💙💚💙💚💙
Wait who did that?
Louis gave so much in this album that he broke his arm
lol
potter?
Best album of the year. For me, the best I've heard in recent years
I love love love Chicago... idk why but it gives me warm fuzzy feelings and I just want to listen to it on repeat forever and ever
