This was fun. I am 64 years old, been playing guitar and other instruments all my life and then my granddaughter talked about the violin. The violin! The hardest instrument ever. I bought her 10 lessons and then she moved to another place, so I took the last lesson. OMG that was really fun. So I stumpled on your page and it is so good. I will try to learn the violin!
That’s awesome! It’s never too late to pick up the violin, especially with all your musical experience. It sounds like you’re already off to a great start after that lesson! I'm so glad you found my page helpful. Enjoy the journey, I believe you'll have so much fun with it! 🎻😊
I love at the end where you have the whole song displayed because I watch on a large tv and can pause and play over and over without having to go forward or back in the video. Thanks again.

Chest rest. I like that. Very good instruction on where to place it on the violin. And very good instruction on holding the bow. I struggle with that. And I just subscribed to your channel. You go into detail and I like the way you illustrate the music on the screen: which fingers to use and whether to play the G, D, A or E string. Very good clarity on your lessons.
This was a fantastic presentation inhere. Have learnt and enjoyed every moment of the tutorial being a new student on violin skill. Cheers and bravo dear Sister. God bless you always 💕
Thanks for this, it taught me quite a bit. This is great material for beginners! I'm just one of those goofs that's on a quest to play every instrument, and I've got a good ear, so I was able to pick out pitches, but that's about it. one thing I learned was that my shoulder rest was on backwards. lol, thanks for the video!
