I paid roughly the same price as you ($13 CDN) and had a solid few hours of good fun in single player with only 7 tracks. Now they’re up to 9 or 10 I think. It truly is a bare-bones Mario Kart in VR and the developers have said they’re including more tracks and items down the road along with a tournament mode. Online was lacking players when I released the video, but I’m hoping more have purchased it since. Even if nobody plays online, it was memorable fun for me that’s sure…but I’ll be setting up an online session in the next couple of weeks to see what multiplayer will actually be like. I’ll give people a few days heads up to schedule that in so everyone can try to make it ✌️😎
@ybazzoun313 I’m not 100% sure, but the description on the PlayStation Store says it has steering wheel support for all brands. If you’re a PlayStation Plus member you can try the game for free for 30 mins to see if it works before buying it. I personally think it should work, but I don’t think you’ll have the same experience as me (in video) because the pxn v9 sounds like it doesn’t have Force Feedback (allowing it to snap back to neutral position). Not too sure though! Please let us know in the comments if you were able to try the demo out and if your wheel worked with it because so many others online have been asking the same question on Reddit. ✌️😀

I was worried about that too, but it wasn’t a problem. 😀 I’m pasting a link below to a spot in the video where you can see my right hand with two fingers holding the wheel and controller at the same time (5:18). The tension is just good enough to feel it while turning and you’ll still be able to easily steer with your left hand while aiming with your right hand✌️😎

The other hand holding the controller only has you manually aim and pull the trigger to shoot. You can naturally hold the wheel with both hands when not aiming (I feel). It really is pick up and play controls with the wheel✌️🤩
@toddgabweg I tried to find out for ya over the weekend, but couldn’t get a definitive answer yet. From what I understand, all wheels should work with it because it doesn’t actually use force feedback. It just adds enough tension to the wheel to feel great, allowing it snap back to neutral position when you let go. If you already have the Fanatec DD Pro wheel and are on the fence about getting the game, I have a feeling it’ll be on sale again during boxing week (hopefully). I hope to upgrade to a DD wheel sometime next year cause I hear they work incredible in GT7✌️😎
@grahamkelly8662 There is single player and online multiplayer mode separately. After you beat the tracks on easy (9 or 10 tracks now and more to come), you unlock more karts and hard difficulty for each track in single player. I didn’t play ANY tracks on Hard yet, but I went through 7 tracks in single-player only and had a blast with the Logitech g29 steering wheel (I’ve only played with a wheel). It was good fun for sure and super smooth (although a little easy)…so I definitely can recommend it on sale if you have a wheel ✌️😎
@@psvrcade ah sounds good. Although, how to you use weapons on enemy, using wheel? Is it awkward? Even using circle on my g29 for handbrake in rally games, kinda sucks. Is it similar in this game?
@@grahamkelly8662 I think I understand what you mean regarding the circle button to emergency brake in most racing games. 😀 Thankfully the gas and brake pedals work with the wheel to drive and no buttons on the wheel are used at all. You can actually set your left PS VR2 Sense controller on the ground allowing you to always hold the wheel with your left hand. Your right hand is dedicated to holding one controller which feels so natural to shoot all items. I can comfortably hold the wheel with both hands at any time while that controller is still in my right hand. Also thankfully, the wheel resistance isn’t the same strength as other racing games throwing you off with super intensity…but it’s perfect for this one allowing the wheel to snap back to neutral position while providing some resistance during turning making it feel extremely natural to pick up and play as an arcade racer (but it’s bare-bones Mario Kart VR) ✌️😎

If online don’t work well for me, I’ll just play a few hours of single player. It’s only about £6.39p in ps store or about $9. Although, it does seem really fast. Does this cause any motion sickness?
@@grahamkelly8662 It’s silky smooth 🤩 This game and Racket Fury: Table Tennis are butter smooth and up there as probably the best for frame rate on PS VR2. I don’t think this game uses reprojection either, which is known to cause motion sickness. That said, I haven’t had motion sickness in so long…so I may not be the best judge for that ✌️😀

It feels soooo good and is so intuitive to play this way. If you do have a wheel, please try it because I believe ALL racing wheels work with it (but it’s the Force feedback and Direct Drive wheels that have resistance). ✌️🤩
This game...this damn game. I don't know how to feel about it to be honest, feels very bare bones, no one plays the multiplayer either, good thing it was only 10 dollars.

I gotta admit that my interest piqued the second I saw you using it and how the wheel would return to the original position after you turned, as a real steering wheel does. I'm curious to know what your experience is like in multiplayer in this game, I tried to play online last Friday night and I could not find a single lobby, unless I missed something somehow? For the racing wheel, I use the Logitech G29 (plus gear shifter sold separately) and I’m super happy with it, but haven’t used anything else to compare it to. This is considered the low-end force feedback wheel compared to many others that are super premium. You definitely want this wheel (bare minimum) for GT7…it really is that transformative 🤩 Honestly…you will be amazed how incredible it is for Gran Turismo! You actually need to have a table that you can clamp this onto and it will be plugged into a wall for power and a USB port is required on your PS5. That force feedback technology actually fights you when you’re trying to turn at high speeds like a real racing car (in GT7, not Galaxy Kart)…and every car feels literally handles and feels uniquely different. Even things like sliding in the rain, to loose gravel affects your steering 🤩 I don’t even care about cars or racing in real life…but this is an absolute must for everyone that has a PS VR2 and GT7!!! If you can afford a Direct Drive wheel instead, I would spend the extra money of that if possible as it’s apparently insane!! I’ll post the link below for the wheel I use and I just noticed it’s on sale right now for like $120 Canadian off regular price which is amazing.
