Hi Sara. Do you need to book a ticket in advance for the ferry if you are traveling by car? We are planning to go on a tour by car to Greece and some of the islands and have read so many negative comments and articles about the ferries, that they are constantly late and sometimes even cancelled..what was your experience? Thank you so much.
I had a great experience personally. We went to the port 1 day before we wanted to take the ferry around the same time we would be there the next day to get an idea what it would be like and to book the tickets. Everything ran smoothly, but it’s not uncommon for the ferry to be 30mins late. However, it all goes very fast once they’ve arrived.
