Hello! We're Maria and Olivia. We're currently living in Athens, Greece after deciding to follow our dreams and start a new journey together traveling within Europe (and hopefully beyond soon) and filming our adventures. We love what we are doing so far, we're learning so much about the world, ourselves, and each other every day and we hope you enjoy our content and have a smile or laugh along with us! 😊
Gorgeous video, Greece never disappoints it really is a beautiful country. No wonder us brits flock there.
Enjoy your travels ladies, keep the great videos coming xx
Thank you Christiana ☺️ haha yes the Brits LOVE Kefalonia. We actually heard more British English while we were there than Greek 😂
This is an amazing experience ladies and I love the end of the video you’re feeding your dog water
Haha thank you Xman! 😁 Turns out those sandals are multipurpose 😂
Wow, Greece is Gorgeous!
Your video is precious
So, I become curious.
Thank you! ☺️ definitely visit the island if you get the chance. It’s lovely 😍
The views on the way to Petali beach were absolutely amazing. The beach also looked beautiful with the smaller stones.
The devastating earthquake of 1953 was both a disaster, but also an opportunity to develop the island to the touristic destination it is today.
Argostoli looks really nice to walk around in.
Tubing seems to be lots of fun.
I'm not a person who is able to spend a whole day at a beach. I need to also be able to walk around and explore.
Clever idea to give water to your dog when you forget to take a bowl with you.
Yes, you’re very right! Kefalonia is actually from the very few places in Greece that has wide rural roads. Since the old roads got destroyed they got to replan and rebuild the roads for cars.
What a beautiful island! I've only heard of Mykonos and Santorini but now I'm adding Kefalona on my list 😄 Great video quality!
250 Islands exist in Greece plus the Aegean and Ionian coasts... leukada also, Paxi and antipaxi, islands near Kefalonia..... Enjoy
Thank you Alex! Greece has sooo many beautiful islands. I always recommend skipping Santorini and Mykonos, they are so packed with tourists that it takes away from the experience. Not to mention the extreme prices. Definitely go to Kefalonia though 😁
Kefalonia beats those 2 islands down. Both are just tourist traps and hugely over rated to me. Much more sightseeing to do on Kef as well.
Another well made, informative, beautiful video from you two! Keep them coming 😄
Thank you 🙏🤗
Incredible video once again ladies!! Y’all never disappoint. Booking my tickets😜
Thank you ☺️ Yesss! Go to Kefalonia
Kefalonia is beautiful ❤ Loved the part you gave water from your sandal to your dog!
Haha yes, turns out those sandals were multipurpose 😜
Μπραβο Μαρια,τελειο βιντεο! perfect video until the next one! have a great time girls !
Thank you!! 🥰
Love from Poland❤
My brother and his family are in Kefalonia now (we are Australians).
After staying in Agostoli they will stay in Assos and Fiskardo - where my Father is from (Fiscardo was untouched by the 1953 earthquake).
Enjoy!
Two of the most beautiful places on the island, 3rd and 4th would be Assos and myrtle beach 😉👍🏼
We are heading back their this August 🙏🏽
@@paulmuaddib3470 Fantastic, Paul.
If you get to Fiskardo, Foki beach is our local - going to the right from town 1 to 2km. (We actually have some waterfront land just past the cave on the right (when looking towards Ithaka from Foki), but it can't be built on; and another parcel up in the hills that can be built on...the dream!)
(My Dad was a boy there when the Italians and WW2 came to town...many stories)
Enjoy!
The piece of land you guys have is definitely the dream! 😍 Hopefully, one day you guys can build on the part you’re allowed to. The whole time I was in Kefalonia I was thinking “this is where I want to have my summer house one day”. I’m noting down Foki beach. We didn’t get to go to Fiskardo this time around, but we did visit Assos on our last day and it did not disappoint 😍😍
@@antap lovely, many stories indeed, and I would love the hear them , fascinating I'm sure 🙂👍🏼
@@antap ok and yes I love Foki , a sweet little place on the corner if I remember, going down to Fiskardo past the houses with lots of wall hanging beautiful flowers 🤔
Great video. Very professional production. I will definitely check out your other videos. Coming back to Sami this June. Can't wait. Thank You.
This is very much a subtropical island . I heard the beaches have course white sand which are better than most beaches on Zakinthos .it is a stunning island .Believe it or not , this amazing island reminds me of Wilson’s Promontory in Victoria Australia .
Wow! Wilson's Promontory does look a lot like the beaches in kefalonia and zakintho. Australia has so many beautiful places! We can't wait to go explore them 😍
amazing moment..!! a week might not be enough to stay there or you could say extra vacation .. hahahahahaha .. ..nice.. 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
Right?! I wish we could have stayed longer. I guess we’ll have to go back at some point 😜 the next island we are going to in a few days we are only staying 4 days 😭 but I’ll take that over not going 🥰
Great video, seriously need to go to Kefalonia
Thank you ☺️ yes, definitely visit the island! You won’t be disappointed.
Wow
Just came across your video while planning my trip! Can you please share what drone you use?? And the other camera equipment?
Nice to meet you. Maria! wow. you uploaded pro content!
Thank you! 😁
Thanks for the info! It’ll be our first time visiting Kephalonia! We’ve been to Crete and Zante, so we’re looking forward to another Greek island experience 🥰
You're going to love it! Especially if you enjoyed Zante. They are very similar but I think the variety of beautiful beaches in Kefalonia is better 😍 Let us know what you think when you visit.
Hi did you visit svoronata at all iam.takimg.my 2 daughters in.june many thx
Great advice🫶🏻
Thank you Lisa 🥰
Hi! Did you have to get a permit for the drone???
Task 10
Very nice, when the beaches aren't crowded with people. 😅
Very true! A very crowded beach can ruin the whole experience :( we always try to go to the islands end of May and June, to avoid that situation but then you run into rain if you go that early in the season
what was your airbnb's name, thanks!
Left yesterday. Gutted
Hello, can I ask what is the name of the “hotel” you stayed in? It looks amazing❤
Hi 😊 yes, It was awesome! Amazing price as well. They are villas that are part of a hotel complex but 2 of the villas are owned by the company that build them so you can rent them by going on the villas individual website. www.hyasvillakefalonia.com/
Hello I love the video and the Channel! can you please let’s us know again the name of the airbnb, the link is not opening :(
It's spelt with p not b in the video . Just noticed . As want go to this one but won't find it spelt with batani
Were there many wasps in June?
It wasn’t too bad! Definitely depends on where you are specifically and if you have food with you or not.
I go there for 8 days in August. We don’t now if we should rent a car. Is there good public transport and taxi? Or is it beter to rent a car
It's really better to rent a car. No doubt!!!
There is public transportation but it’s not as frequent and reliable. On top of that, if you’ll be there in August, it’s almost guaranteed the heat will torture you and because it’s a humid island, even if you’re waiting for the bus in the shade you’ll be very hot. Taxis are an option but most likely it will come out more expensive than renting a car and it might be a headache having to pre arrange all the rides. If you decide you want to rent a car arrange it ASAP. August is one of the busiest months for the islands and car rentals will go fast.
is it less crowded than corfu?
It all depends on the time of year. But given Corfus popularity, even at the peak Kefalonia may be a bit less crowded. We went at the end of May in both Corfu and Kefalonia and I would say it felt about the same crowd wise.
Pretty Ladies! 🤗
Where are you from???
I am Greek/American and Olivia is American/English 😊
@@MariaOliviaTravel Nice! 🙌🏻 Thank you for the Beautiful Videos! 💙
