I prefer GBA version because it was by far the most tolerable version of the game. Rayman doesnt suffer from knockback, lifes are slighty more easier to get in the bonus rounds, level design is slighty altered and you are a bit more resistant.
PS1 wins in aesthetics but GBA wins on gameplay.

@@anonoir8097 But it still isnt easy, is just objectively more fair all around. And i think most of these changes are compensated by the fact that you see like 3 times less than in the other versions.
Does the graphics are inferior? Yes. Does the music are inferior? Yes. But none of that affects the gameplay which is my deciding point.
Although Rayman Redemption is overall the most polished Rayman 1 experience to date, the GBA version is objectively the most well made of the official ports.
And all of this comes from someone who can complete other hard games like Crash 1 without problems.

@@PhilipMarcYT But it is still way easier than for example the PS1 version, where even with the extra vision there are still tons of little annoying differences that makes it harder overall.
Its also not a fault of the devs really. All of the GBA games were like this due to the resolution.
Also i do believe even the PS1 version still needed more field of view. Seems that only Rayman Redemption nailed it with its widescreen support.

Yeah I was wondering this, it should have the same music as the PS1 version albeit implemented in a slightly different way. If you mount the cd drive/iso image in Dosbox it will work no problem.

Ms Dos is a nice one but so bad there's no music or rather it's very short or just all tracks in one go (like in badlands). When you get to a very dark stage and the "funny" music playing this is so OFF. That's why I don't prefer MS Dos version nah thanks
Music it's onr of the point of the game, the atmosphere keep you there no matter how tough the games is. But PC version ruins it.
