    Can't comment on the helmet but the level of service from these guys makes buying stress free, returns are so easy, refunds don't need chasing. The best internet buying experience I've had.

    I bought one of these last week from your website. The helmet is fantastic but unfortunately having to return it. The cheek pads included on the helmet are too tight.
    for the price of the helmet you would expect to get additional check pads.

      Thanks for getting in touch, and sorry to hear the fit didn't work for you. Different thicknesses of pad are available for the Evo-ES (ranging from 25mm-45mm), but they are indeed at an extra cost (currently £17.99). Cheers, Tony

      What sort of head shape do these suit best

      Apologies for the late reply. You can try on in one of our shops now. We have them in Boston (Lincs), Milton Keynes, Leeds, Reading and Bristol. You can find more info here... bit.ly/SBSlocations Can't answer on the ideal shape, sorry, but I'm round-headed and it suited me. Thanks for getting in touch. Cheers, Tony

      I couldn't say the shape it's designed to suit, but it was comfortable on my round head. Thanks for getting in touch. Cheers, Tony

    Hi Tony, just about to purchase this lid for my wife. Along with the Sena S50 twin pack.
    Do you know if the Sena will fit this lid, and my own HJC i100. I don't mind a bit of fiddling, I just don't want 2 useless helmets after paying £400 in an intercom. Cheers, Lee.

      Hi Lee, I'm away on a trip at the moment so can't check for sure. But I'm pretty confident it'll fit the Shark (I'm sat next to a Shark Evo GT with a Sena ST1 that fitted fine). HJC i100 I'm fairly confident, but can't see for sure till next week. Let me know if you want to wait for confirmation. Cheers, Tony

    Hello! Is this helmet more round oval shaped or intermediate oval shaped?

    • @sportsbikeshop
      @sportsbikeshop  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Shark don't offer this information and I've no way of measuring to assess it myself, but those who profess to know about these things suggest Shark's Evo range of lids come in as round ovals. I hope that helps. Cheers, Tony

    Is anyone able to comment on this vs the Caberg Duke? Been riding with a Duke for years but it's much too old now.

    Which intercom system would you recommend to adapt to this helmet?

    • @sportsbikeshop
      @sportsbikeshop  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      In this instance, because of the nature of the moving chinbar, I'd recommend using the manufacturer-specified Sharktooth system... www.sportsbikeshop.co.uk/motorcycle_parts/content_prod/417709. Thanks for getting in touch. Cheers, Tony

    what is the difference between the evo one 2 and the es

    • @sportsbikeshop
      @sportsbikeshop  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The Evo-One 2 has (or had, as it's now discontinued) a higher spec on trim and lining and also came with a Pinlock insert rather than the anti-fog visor coating for the Evo-ES. Otherwise, they're very similar in their essential construction. Cheers, Tony

    What is the field of view like?

    • @sportsbikeshop
      @sportsbikeshop  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I don't have any mention of it in my review notes, and none of the customer reviewers have referred to it either. Best I can say is that it's fine - not something that demanded either criticism or praise. Thanks for getting in touch and I hope that helps. Cheers, Tony

    What do you get with the GT over the ES? Couldn't find your GT video.

    • @sportsbikeshop
      @sportsbikeshop  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The GT gets a Class 1 optical visor with a Pinlock 120 insert, a better comfort liner (anti-bacterial with improved moisture management) and easier-to-use vents. We're making the GT video at the moment, so we're hoping it will be up soon. Thanks for getting in touch. Cheers, Tony

    This helmet or LS Valiant 2. Look similar, similar prices etc - how to decide what to buy?

    • @sportsbikeshop
      @sportsbikeshop  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The Shark is about 10% lighter and I found the interior a bit nicer, but you have to stop to raise or lower the Shark chinbar as it takes two hands. The LS2 can be raised/lowered with one hand so it's possible to do it on the move (though the owners manual says you shouldn't, just in case the chinbar gets stuck in front of your eyes while on the move). We've made a video about the LS2 as well... th-cam.com/video/nQsHejzBtzA/w-d-xo.html I hope that helps you make a call between the two. Cheers, Tony
